Edgewood Point Assisted Living & Memory Care

It’s been a great place for my mother, she was treated with dignity and respect to her last day. I live in the independent cottages so I don’t receive direct care until I come in for meals and join in on activities. Over all the Food is pleasant. The care staff from what I have experienced has been great, the staff treat the residents like family. The residents also treat each other like family and it’s easy to make friends here. Too easy. If you’re looking for a place for your loved one, highly consider Edgewood point.

I would love to share how comfortable I have felt living in the community at Edgewood. In addition, the staff at Edgewood are tremendously helpful. My friend steward mentioned when he came into edgewood his experience with the community was that along the path to my apartment, every resident that had asked for help or pressed their call assistant pendant was helped/answered right away and to him that was so comforting. The staff is so happy, laughing and smiling all the time and I believe that’s very important for the residents that live here, it offers a feeling of joy and brings up the stamina and quality of life in us that may forget to appreciate the little things. In conclusion I’m so blessed I’ve found this place, I think about this every single day, when I walked in, I thought to myself, it’s not to fancy, it’s just perfect for my husband and I. Highly recommends!

Edgewood Point is a remarkable place to live. It meets all the requirements one would need in an assistanted living community. The staff is superior and provides top notch service at any time day or night. The staff has a rare remarkable quality in that they treat you so much like family. The cuisine is top tier and provides a wide variety of tasty meals with nutritious value. Desserts and other snack food highlights the joy of eating at Edgewood. I would like to emphasize on the professional entertainment that they provide here at Edgewood on a weekly basis and how it brings the quality of life from a standard to immeasurable, ranging from old time, standard classics or contemporary. When it comes to the musical entertainment, NOT to exclude the variety of all other life uplifting activities. All and all living at Edgewood point is a pleasurable experience.

Since nothing is 100% perfect, this place has exceeded what I thought I would expect. The food is prepared quite nicely, but every now and then there will be a clanger. Not enough to make me change my mind lots of activities created by Malisa, including bingo, which is my favorite. Outside shopping opportunities once or twice a month via the bus provided here at Edgewood Point. Good air-conditioning in each individual room.Housekeeping is above average. The staff is always willing to help out whether they be at the front desk or caregiver. If a resident is unable to reach the dining room for any of their meals, then the food will be brought to them. Free Wi-Fi. DirecTV is provided. Streaming services are not. I have lived here for nearly 3 years and found this to be a not only a friendly environment, but it’s a safe environment. Building maintenance is very good. $ 3,000, 000 renovation 2 years ago included a new roof for the entire facility, including the memory care.
