Discovery Commons Hobe Sound

My father lived in assisted living here for 2.5 years. During this time, the caring staff went above and beyond to care for him. He had a lovely private studio room with a great layout (the bathroom a straight shot from the bed.) I appreciated knowing he was well looked after. There were a lot of activities and outings for the residents. My father especially liked watching Sunday NFL football in their movie theatre. Mike in the kitchen did a great job creating good meals for the residents. Food quality was important to my father and I appreciated how they always gave him something to eat, even if it wasn’t mealtime. Debbie, who sat behind the front desk during the week, had the biggest heart in the world. Her job is underrated, for sure. Rob, in charge of maintenance, was always willing to help. He helped with little things as well as important items, and even helped my dad out of the car once or twice. John in sales was always walking around making sure the residents and their families had everything they needed. I never had any issues. The staff always immediately alerted me whenever an issue arose. All the staff cares about the residents, regardless of their role. I placed my father here due to close proximity to me but I would recommend this facility to anyone with an aging parent.

Moved my 94 year old mother to Discovery in July. Wish we did it sooner. The transition was so easy because of the wonderful staff. Everyone who works there are kind and compassionate but special kudos to John (the director) and Debbie who went above and beyond. My mother loves the morning paper and on days that the paper was not delivered Debbie got her a paper and delivered it with coffee to her unit. The facility is beautiful and my mother loves it!!

Discovery Commons is a safe and secure facility for your love ones. The staff here is wonderful, always friendly and helpful. It's clear that they genuinely care about the residents' well-being. The residents always gives positive feedback about everyone in this community and that's a plus!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Discovery Commons of Hobe Sound. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt a sense of warmth, care, and professionalism that immediately put our minds at ease. My sister has been living here for almost a year, and the transformation has been remarkable. She is more active, social, and happier than we've seen in years. The activities calendar is always full of engaging events—from art classes and music therapy to group outings and fitness sessions. There’s truly something for everyone. The facility itself is beautifully maintained, clean, and welcoming. The dining options are nutritious and delicious, and staff goes out of their way to accommodate dietary needs and preferences. The Director of Dining, Michael, has been nothing short of exceptional, the food is top-notch! He goes above and beyond for all meals, experiences and even the holidays when families come to visit our loved ones. What really sets Discovery Commons apart is the sense of community. It feels like a big extended family, and knowing that my loved one is in such capable and caring hands brings me immense peace of mind. If you're looking for a place where your loved one will be treated with dignity, respect, and genuine kindness, I wholeheartedly recommend Discover Commons of Hobe Sound.
