Mom mother is one of the residents at Dimensions Living. She has lived there for two months. She has entered into the end-stage of Alzheimer’s and requires help with most tasks. After touring multiple facilities we were relieved to find a facility that could provide her with the care that she needs and in a comfortable environment which is what Dimensions Living is providing to her. This facility is small with only 18 residents so it is the perfect size for someone with dementia. Most of the facilities that we toured were too large and we knew that they were going to be too overwhelming to her. Be careful, during my search for a memory care facility I learned that there are two types of memory care facilities. Real memory care facilities that have experienced caregivers with the knowledge of how to handle people with dementia. And, other facilities that claim that they are a “memory care facility” which have trained their staff by showing them videos. Ironically this was explained to me by a caregiver from one of the facilities that claimed that they were a “memory care facility”. Dimensions has experienced caregivers who specialize with providing gentle and respectful care for people who have dementia and other types of memory care disorders. They know how to communicate with my mom and understand her needs for help with most daily activities, including eating, walking, and sitting. They communicate well with her hospice care providers to make sure that my mom is getting everything that she needs to live her life as comfortably as possible. I highly recommend considering Dimensions Living when looking for the right place for your loved one!

My husband is a resident there and receives such good care all the staff is friendly and caring When I visit him I feel comfortable and my husband also feels comfortable and adores all the staff so happy that this is a wonderful place for my husband and knowing he is well taken care of each and everyday.
