My name is Andrew. I am the ED at Diamond Ridge. Since taking over, I have fostered a healthy community with respect, love and understanding. I treat each resident as family, as I am a family man and wouldn't be doing this job any other way. The incident you are referring to did happen, but your account is categorically false. There was a potential resident here for breakfast, and the family left a lot out about the diagnosis. Immediately after the incident, the person left and was told they can never come back. I then addressed all my residents at breakfast, promising them I would NEVER put them in harms way knowingly adding a potentially dangerous member to the community. I have a responsibility to my residents to foster a safe, fun community. Ask any of them if I've been successful, and the answer will make most smile ear to ear. As a "top reviewer" for google, T.D. Martino has the responsibility to contact me and get the facts, and not blast a wonderful place to live that many are very happy to call home. I am always available to talk things out.

To those of you who write a review of this place must constantly check on your loved ones and update your reviews. It's disturbingly worrisome that GREED has allowed loved ones to be in danger! A psychotic person with dementia is a risk living among your family. The person already threw a table over in the dining hall. This person needs a different facility where they are given their meds for schizophrenia and dementia.

The kitchen staff is absolutely horrible. You are never greeted with any moral nor manners. That is if they even have any staff at all. The staff is interchangeable, from in home aids to Housekeeping and so on.They have outsiders that are not even employed by the Facility in the kitchen serving/preparing food. No hair nets gloves etc. The residents complain daily about their orders and meals. They are served an hour after being seated every morning. In which they are told, if they are not in the dining room by 8am, they will not be served. I have never encountered a place of independent senior living, where the price of living is costly to endure state owned nursing home like treatment!!!. It's disheartening and appalling.
