After an emergency operation, I had lost mobility and ended up in a terrible rehab facility recommended by my hospital. My move to Delaney after reaching out for information proved to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The people/staff, environment, and food were top quality. There were a wide range of activities and I was able do my physical therapy in both classes and individually. The facility is almost brand new so it is clean and the rooms are beautiful and there is in house cleaning service at least once a week. My husband passed away during my stay and the support and care from the entire team was heartfelt and meant so much to me. I am moving back to my home and I am grateful for everything the Delaney team did for me. There is a wide range of quality and service for people like me and I give the Delaney my highest recommendation.

My mother has been living in the Memory Care Unit at Delaney at the Vale in Woburn since December of 2025. I can say without hesitation that bringing her there was the best decision for her continued well being and care. The entire staff in Memory Care has been so very kind in their treatment of my mother. They treat her with dignity, and do so much to make each day the best that it can be for her. Ma has made new friends and participates in many activities, including daily fitness class, which she thoroughaly enjoys. Much of this is due to the dedication and caring shown by the Memory Care Unit's Director, Anne Cardenas. She is always there for everyone and always makes family members like myself feel welcome. She not only shows her kindness by inviting us to visit as often as possible, but also invites our participation in events for the residents. It makes me feel like part of the extended Delaney at the Vale Family. Anne handles whatever issues that pop up with both speed and diligence, always putting the resident's well being ahead of everything else, which gives people like me peace of mind that our loved one is safe and happy. God Bless Anne and the folks at Delaney at the Vale.

I can’t say enough great things about Kristi, the Wellness Director, John, the Executive Director, and the entire team at The Delaney. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how much they truly care about their residents and families. Kristi goes above and beyond to ensure every resident’s health and well-being is a top priority, while John leads with professionalism, warmth, and a genuine commitment to excellence. The entire staff is attentive, compassionate, and incredibly responsive. Communication is clear and consistent, and you always feel like your loved one is in the best hands possible. The community itself is beautiful, welcoming, and thoughtfully run. If you’re looking for one of the best senior living communities for a loved one, The Delaney truly sets the standard. Highly recommend.

My mother moved into the memory care more than a year ago. It was an extremely rocky start, in part due to her disease and in part due to staffing: the aides were not well managed and the memory care director role was vacant for many months. There was little engagement of residents and it was very depressing. Things have started to improve meaningfully since Ann Cardenas arrived. She is a breath of fresh air and gives her energy freely to residents and families. There’s a full calendar of engagement, something for everyone, and her presence is always felt. The activities and engagement for the residents have dramatically improved as has the responsiveness to our feedback. Ann is always the first to reach out with a phone call and respond to feedback even if it’s not her direct responsibility. Her care and intention are highly appreciated and she’s an invaluable asset to the community. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Ann for making a difference!
