Food is served by minors who don’t understand safe food handling. Perishable food put out in the dining room an hour before dinner meal. Gloves worn to serve and clear without changing. Cross contamination hazard. Quat sanitizer not used to clean kitchen surfaces. No temps recorded in the kitchen by chef manager or cooks.

My mom has lived at Danbury (behind the North Canton Acme) since 2018. Leasa the director and Kathie and Dawn at the front desk are professional, caring and attentive. The facility is independent care and includes daily dinner and a host of social activities. Breakfast is available at an additional cost. The apartment sizes vary and are well maintained and updated. I can't imagine my mom in a better living community.

My Mother, Betty Persons, lived at the Danbury for 4 or 5 years before she needed a nursing home. She was extremely happy there and l was happy for her. She was close to me so l could visit often and frequently l would join her for dinner. What a treat that always was! Now that l am older, 79, l would love to have that same experience. I know what my Mother's expenses were as l handled her check book. Unfortunately, l don't have the finances Mom had. But if l could get my kids to kick in . . . Lol.

Danbury in North Canton has provided everything that we were looking for! My Mother lost my Dad a year ago and we wanted a place that Mom could call 'home' now. Danbury's entire and wonderful staff has provided EVERYTHING for my Mom, plus more! The facilities and her neutral room are very well decorated, with each season/holiday having their own wonderful decorations. The entire place is VERY clean. Mom is very happy with all the various types of great food. Most important to us children was that Mom have various and ample activities that Mom could attend. Danbury provides them as well! Even the cleaning staff is wonderful there. I cannot say enough about how happy my Mother is living there! This is a great relief in knowing that our loved one is well taken care of for a good price as well!!
