My mom has been a resident at Danbury Mount Vernon ever since it opened nearly 3 years ago. It is the perfect place for her to receive the assisted care she needs while also maintaining what independence she can. Everyone, from cleaning/laundry, PT, activities (she does almost everything), personal care/nursing staff, maintenance, administration, have provided wonderful care and treated her with respect always. We, her children, are so grateful!

We sold a special home and have moved into the Villas recently and are very happy to live independently and still be able to enjoy cooking in our home yet take a break and eat in the inviting dining room with nutritious and well balanced meals. We can enjoy making the villa our special new home without the concern for homeownership. Staff are all energetic and open to being there for everyone. We do observe the caring atmosphere that all staff present to each resident. Danbury has been on our radar for several years and it is a blessing to be here!

The Danbury staff are all amazing. My father lives there. The aids, nurses, and all of the director's are great people. I don't have to worry about my father's safety. Nurses always keep me update on my father's health, prescriptions. Danbury is very well taken care of. Very clean and always take precautions on if there's a sickness present. Take very good care of their residents.

My mother is in memory care and gardening was always something she loved to do. At Danbury she has her own little garden she has planted seeds, flowers and veggies. Her being able to do this gives her purpose and beauty for all to look at! Danbury is very attentive to the needs of everyone. Staff is very willing to listen to make a residents life fulfilled just ask , it makes a difference for your loved one!
