I couldn’t be more pleased with the exceptional efforts made by Marisa to secure and place my dear friend into this residence. She was very compassionate and willing to help in the transition from client’s home into their facility. Marisa was and is very attentive to family needs and concerns regarding care. There truly are no words to describe how appreciative I am of her skill set as well as her dedications to making sure we are updated and consistently assured how day to day life at residence is going. Thank you!

There are not enough words to praise Marisa P for the exceptional care and support she's provided. The entire process of moving my aunt into CountryHouse Granite Bay (CHGB) was handled with the utmost professionalism and compassion. Marisa has always made me feel as if I were her only client. Everything she did allowed for a smooth and stress-free transition. She is the epitome of patience and kindness. The support I've received from staff at CHGB has been phenomenal. Every person I've encountered has been professional and kind. My aunt is receiving excellent care!

Let me start off by saying that I would NOT, in a million years, recommend this place to anyone considering putting their loved one into a memory care community. Sure, the exterior and interior of the building is very appealing, but don't let that fool you. My dad was officially diagnosed with vascular dementia in May of 2023 and I had to find placement for him very quickly. Despite paying $8,745/month for level 4 care, I liked what this community represented and what they had to offer (or so I thought). I know my dad was not the easiest resident to care for and he would refuse changes, medications, etc. However, when it comes to memory care communities, you'd think that ALL staff would be well trained in understanding each resident and how to tailor an approach that works for them individually. Having been a drill sergeant in the Army most of his life, he was not the type of person to be TOLD what to do. He will cooperate when approached in a way that matches his personality (which is what his new place does). Care staff at Country House did not even try to create an approach that worked for him given his military history. I would oftentimes find my dad sitting in his brief saturated with urine and feces. My dad was so unhappy at this community to the point where he was refusing to get out of my car to go back inside either when we'd come back from appointments or drives. Barb, the director of nursing, was the absolute worse person I had ever encountered in a healthcare environment and should not be in this field. She overstepped boundaries on numerous occasions and was extremely unprofessional. I caught her in lies several times when it came to my dad. One night in May 2024, I made an unannounced visit to drop something off for my dad at 11pm. When I got to his room, he was motionless in bed (as if sedated) and his personal hospital bed was raised as high as it could go and all his side rails were up (this is a form of restraint that is highly illegal). I have a video of this for proof. Barb happened to be there this particular night and claimed that she had no knowledge of this happening and blamed it on a caregiver from registry. All caregivers, CNAs, nurses, etc., know, as part of their training, that beds cannot be kept that high and definitely cannot have all side rails up. The whole situation seemed weird and it was infuriating. I know that this place did not provide proper care or have properly trained staff. Since moving my dad to a new memory care community, he has been well taken care of and is a completely different person in comparison. He is actually happy again. The care staff at his new place has tailored an approach that works specifically for him. What a difference it has made!

This facility is the worst facility in Granite Bay for people to bring their loved ones and spend so much money for them to get better care. This facility is not the place it is the absolute worst place to have your loved one live at they are understaffed the directors don’t know what they’re doing, they sit in the office every day not doing nothing. Wow the caregivers who do show up and are there overwork themselves by doing care and dining. They only get served one meal and not an alternative like they are supposed to. If you ask me, I think they pocket money And try to budget off what they can and that is not right for the amount of money the residence pay to live at that facility poor quality in everything laundry rooms are a mess. They have their staff meetings in the main lobby. You have resident that will fall on the floor and the care staff will just pick them up instead of assisting them And doing proper protocol because that is what they are assigned to do. I have been in some facilities where directors, old or new will get on the floor and help if the facility is short staffed Not this place if you have a loved one at Country House, Granite Bay on Barton Road I advise you to do a proper look and fully investigate
