Care
Skilled Nursing
Skilled nursing and nursing homes are residential facilities that offer medical care and support for individuals that require a higher level of medical attention and assistance. These are staffed by licensed healthcare providers and offer a range of services to ensure the well-being and comfort of residents.
Neighborhood
Pulling from a variety of reliable data sources, Walk Score® measures the walkability of any address, helping you understand how easy it is to live a car-free lifestyle. Transit Score®, when available, measures how well a location is served by public transit. Scores range from 0 to 100, with higher scores indicating more amenities within walking distance and diverse transit options nearby.

The establishment is fine. But working there was pretty awful. First of all, the nurses are downright rude to people, they insult the employees who cannot do certain tasks due to their age and not being LEGALLY ALLOWED to do something. The kitchen managers have also been known to be unkind to the workers and act selfishly. Some of the CNAs actively ignore the residents, telling others to say to the residents that theyre busy. The residents are great, and theres some pretty awesome people there, but thats as far as it goes

My mom lived with our family for 8 years when the decision was made to bring her to the Laramie Care center. Her Dementia had progressed and she needed more nursing care than what I could provide. The staff were extremely supportive and kind towards me and made the admission process an easy one. I’ve been able to get to know the nursing staff and they are wonderful. When I ask questions about her health, they take the time to answer them and I’m not made to feel as if I’m interrupting their schedule. When I visit, her room has always been clean and her bed made. She is dressed for the day and taken to one of the many social gathering places around the center. The staff calls her by her first name when they talk with her which I appreciate so much. I’m impressed with the activity staff also. They provide a constant variety of activities for the residents including exercise, crafts, and church study. They take pictures and post them on their Facebook page which allows my family to see what she has been doing. I’m happy with our decision and I know she will be safe and well taken care of here.

Well, where should I start.. My mother's stay was fairly average. She got her PT, but slowly. She was always cold. As always, some things went to laundry and never came back. Then we get to the end of the 100 days mark and they can't get her out of there fast enough. They sent her home without clear orders for medications nor did they do anything to make sure she had all the medications present at home. So she spent her first weekend home without her pain medication and now she's miserable. This place is too worried about money and not enough worried about whether the people they send home are going to be successful at staying home!!!

Laramie Care Center has been there for 4 of our family members. 3 have passed on & my little Brother is there now. There is always room for improvement, but overall, these years I have been very satisfied with how they have & are caring for our Family members there. Especially if you consider the scope of what they have to accomplish each & every day. I especially want to acknowledge a few special ones who come to mind. Naomi, Lisa, Tammy, Andea, Sarah & from the past, Terri & Jim. My Husband & I are planning on being there someday with our Brother & don’t worry about our care at all.
