We are depositors. We just toured the Venice-JacarandaTrace location today. The Convivial owners took over this community that has not been updated since the 80s. But the Convivial group has started updates, units and dining room, bar and the updates are 5 star. Updating Venice is a huge project. We stayed for lunch which was delicious-, not a buffet. The new updated dining room was gorgeous, table cloths,, fine china and super nice servers.Seeing their updates reassured me the Convivial will be a 5 star community. Don't miss out on the opportunity to get the pre construction insentives being offered. Stephen/ Cynthia Strum

When we made the decision to sign onto Convivial, it was primarily a practical decision. We do not have children, so we knew that we alone had to make the future health care/lifestyle decisions, and hopefully not under "emergency" circumstances. We chose Convivial primarily because we liked their prices, location and that it will be brand new. Since we made our decision, Convivial has made a huge effort to involve all of us depositors in their progress and also offering numerous opportunities for us to get to know the staff, as well as our "new neighbors". Since 2 members of the staff have also become depositors, we feel that speaks highly of the management and the amenities. When we move in, in 2027, we will not have strangers as our neighbors, but friends. We will all be facing the transition challenges at the same time and will have a huge support system available. Our original decision was "practicality" but now it is excitement. Come join us. Bill and Marsha

We are excited about moving to Convivial. We live in Sarasota and did our homework and looked at many different types of retirement communities, each with their own positives and negatives, but somehow we knew from the first meeting with Mike that this checked all the important boxes for us: not-for-profit, close to the water and the beach, well-designed floor plans, and an abundance of cultural opportunities and outstanding museums close by. We liked that it was new construction, built to the latest codes, and that we would have the opportunity choose our own personal decorating finishes. We love that the pool and activity area would be located on the top floor with great views, and that outdoor dining was also available. It was also good to know that the entire project will be completed at the same time so we would not have construction going on around us as additional buildings were added. Can't wait until they break ground.

My wife and I visited 9 Continuing Care Retirement Centers (CCRCs). Our last visit was to Convivial ST Petersburg and without hesitation we knew this was where we wanted to live. My employment background is in health care: Masters degree in physical therapy (retired naval officer) and nursing home administration. Hence, the reason for scrutinizing so many CCRCs. The primary reasons for selecting Convivial ST Petersburg over the other CCRCs are (1) new coastal contemporary facility with an opportunity to get a water views and select all the finishes for our unit (being able to select flooring, cabinets, countertops, etc was very important to us). (2) self contained facility which provides dining, fitness center, auditorium, pool, and health care all in one building. Florida is hot and rainy and we didn’t want to have walk to different buildings to enjoy all the amenities. Again, Convivial at ST Petersburg offers all the amenities under one roof! (3) The health care units at Convivial ST Petersburg are top draw! (4) close proximity to a VA regional hospital (5) Enjoying ST Petersburg for its great restaurants, museums, beautiful beaches, and professional sports. Lastly, we have met so many great, friendly people who have also chosen Convivial ST Petersburg as their future residence which is really what it is all about.
