Great afternoon at Cogir of Kirkland. Honored to be their first visiting author for their new book club. Had over a dozen folks read my novel TANGLES and we had a robust discussion with lots of insightful questions from the residents. The community commons is lovely with a cozy fireplace and comfy furnishings with tea and cookies for this visitor too!!

It’s so welcoming! The residents are fun and energetic and the staff couldn’t be more supportive. I love bringing my programs in - I have been working with them for almost two years - I would be there every day if I could! Shout out to Danica, Mina and my longtime laughers Linda, Martin, Sheri and Gabrielle and Chuck. Love you all!

Cogir of Kirkland is a really lovely boutique assisted living community with a warm, welcoming feel :) What stood out to me most was how attentive and compassionate the staff is, along with the peace of mind that comes from having 24/7 licensed nursing support while still encouraging independence! The apartments are super comfortable and thoughtfully and there’s always something going on to keep all of the residents engaged and social. It feels like a close knit and well cared for community and a wonderful option for seniors in the Kirkland area :)
