My mom wasn't at Cogir long but while she was there she was treated with the utmost care and compassion. She loved chatting with the staff and sharing stories. She enjoyed the activities she was able to take part in and was anticipating many enjoyable months there. Unfortunately she didn't have as much time as we had hoped for, and she passed away on Sept. 30th. Thank you to everyone at Cogir of Edmonds for making her short stay so enjoyable!

I am so thankful for the friendly folks at Cogir Edmonds especially Emily My father has been with me for 5 years and his dementia has gotten to the point he needs more care than we can offer. The food and activities are good especially for the memory care unit. It is nice to be greeted with a smile and everyone knows who I am when I call and there is a question of his care they are on it. They have gone above and beyond and recognized when my father was having issues . Thank you for your kindness and care.

My experience wasn’t directly with the facility, but rather with an employee who harassed me as I was leaving the ER after having been told that I was possibly in the early stages of a miscarriage. This was over a year ago, but it still sticks with me, and makes me angry and time I see and Cogir property or advertisements. I had spent around 5 hours at the ER for a suspected miscarriage and had been told that they couldn’t find my baby’s heartbeat, but it could be because it was too early (I was around 5 weeks pregnant), or the baby could be dead and my body hadn’t yet miscarried it. Obviously a little distraught, I wasn’t paying the best attention while driving home and went straight in a turn lane. A man wearing a Cogir shirt, so I can only assume an employee, followed me all the way to the I-5 on ramp, screaming at me the entire time. I had an er band on my wrist, I apologize for my traffic error, but it wasn’t enough. He broke several traffic laws himself so that he could continue to scream at me, also calling me a horrible mother because he saw I had a car seat in my car. I realize I made an error, but that does not justify this man’s actions. It was harassment. I ended up having to pull over because I was crying so hard that I couldn’t safely drive. My toddler was so confused as to why I was so upset when I picked her up from school. I also then had a 3 day migraine due to dehydration from crying so much. The man in question drove a Subaru outback with a thule on top and lots of stickers about mountains and hiking and such. Cogir, if this is your employee, I would seriously consider his character when slightly elevated. This is not someone I would want interacting with a loved one of mine. I will not be using this company.

Cogir of Edmonds is a very special place with exceptional, compassionate staff! Our family is navigating through the process of getting high level care for my ailing grandma…this is our first time. Emily at Cogir has made the process a lot easier with her guidance and support. She went out of her way to come meet my grandma in the skilled nursing facility and has continued to go the extra mile to make sure we have everything ready to make my grandma’s move to Cogir as smooth as possible! It’s hard to trust your loved ones in the care of others…the staff at Cogir gives us peace of mind our grandma will be loved and beautifully cared for when our family can’t be with her! I can’t give Emily and Cogir enough thanks and praise!
