Cogir of Broomfield

I am thrilled that we found Cogir of Broomfield for my father. Transitioning an older loved one to a different home is rarely easy, but the staff at Cogir has been kind and responsive and always willing to help with whatever we need. The apartments are new and well-designed with every modern convenience. The facility itself is beautiful and spotless, with places for residents to gather for movies, games, exercise, or friendly conversation. They also offer numerous organized activities and even transportation to outings or appointments. The food is wonderful, with a wide variety of options available all day. And the staff does everything they can to be helpful, caring, and encouraging to all residents while focusing on safety and well-being. And while all of this is not inexpensive, we found it to be priced comparably to nearby facilities while offering more amenities and options (and it's brand new, so that's nice also). If you are looking for a senior living situation, I strongly recommend touring Cogir Broomfield and seeing it all for yourself. We have been very happy with our decision to move our father in!

Our mom moved in about two months ago and is loving Cogir. This is the happiest we’ve seen her since before my dad passed away in July 2024. The staff is amazing - everyone is enthusiastic and warm. In particular, Cale has been just wonderful with my mom and everyone else I see him interact with in the dining room. Brooke is terrific too. Everyone is. My mom has been playing rummikube in the evenings which we are thrilled about because she never joined things at her old place. All the residents are so wonderful too. Management is terrific - responsive and engaged. Exactly what we hoped for and more. ❤️

My Mom loves her new home at Cogir @ Broomfield. I cannot express enough my gratitude the people that work there. This phase of our lives and making decisions for our mom was one of the hardest things we have ever had to do, and I cannot thank the Cogir staff enough for making it so smooth and easy on her and us. Brooke, who showed us around, answered endless questions and loved on us. Bev and Tiffany who stopped everything to assess my mom and get her everything she needed prior to her arrival. The care staff (Judy, Cheryl and many more) that check on her, take care of her, are the most amazing group of humans. She feels cared for and my mom is happy, engaged, and feels like a part of a great community of residents and staff. I would recommend Cogir of Broomfield to anyone looking for a wonderful place for their loved one to age and live their best life.

We recently transitioned my mom to COGIR‘s assisted living and my dad to their memory care unit. A transition this major is obviously very challenging for anyone, especially someone like my dad who is suffering from dementia. The patience of the staff at COGIR and their loving approach has been nothing but positive. The food is also great, and my mom loves the fact that she can wander down to the restaurant anytime between 7 AM and 7 PM to sit down and order a meal. There are no set dining times for the residence to be pigeonholed into. And the freedom that they are allowed around meals and other activities is not like any other place that we visited. And if she doesn’t feel like hitting the restaurant, she goes to the bistro to grab coffee, a sandwich or something to snack on. We definitely recommend COGIR to any families working through the decision to place a loved one in assisted living.
