We moved our loved one to Cogir so she would be closer to us and we would be able to visit more frequently. Cogir has been a wonderful facility where she became comfortable and not afraid. They have shown care and Compassion. They always had her clean and well cared for. A great staff especially the Director Deedra she is helpful and easy to communicate with. Teresa and Sophie the caregivers treated her lovingly .They seen her through hospice care to the end of life. Thankful for the care she received while at Cogir.

⸻ I cannot say enough positive things about Deedra, the Director of Memory Care at Cogir. From the beginning, she led with compassion, calm, and genuine respect for both residents and families. Navigating memory care and hospice is incredibly emotional, and Deedra’s steady, reassuring presence made a very difficult time more manageable. She took the time to know my father as a person, not just a diagnosis, and ensured his care was thoughtful and dignified. Her clear communication and responsiveness brought comfort when it was needed most. Deedra’s leadership is reflected in the kindness and professionalism of the entire memory care staff. Families are truly fortunate to have her at Cogir.

I cant say enough good things about this facility. We were lucky enough to get my grandma in the memory care unit here. Deedra was so helpful from start to finish and went above and beyond for not only grandma but the family as well. Grandma came from a facility that wasnt caring for her properly (eating, hygiene and on general). I am fortunate she got to spend her last few months at Cogir. Hannah came in after grandma passed and started talking and called her the wrong name and was a little off but the rest of the staff was great. Would highly recommend!

My husband is in memory care at Cogir, and while the beginning was a bit bumpy due to his behavior, Deedra handled everything with incredible compassion and understanding. She communicated clearly and thoughtfully every step of the way, helping us feel supported and reassured. Her calm, caring approach and dedication to the residents make a real difference. We are so grateful for her leadership and the way she cares for both my husband and our family.
