My Mother was there from April 2023 to Sept 30, 2024, in the beginning the care was good, The new management leaves much to be desired. Never see a caregiver twice, I have no idea who is running the place, not once when I gave notice did anyone ask why we were moving Mom, in fact, I paid for her apartment thru 9/30/2024, went back on 9/23 to pick up the rest of her personal items and found they had discarded them and rented out the apartment, the new resident was moving in prior to the end of the month. Not once did Management offer compensation for the time not used nor for the personal effects they discarded...Be aware the living conditions at Clearwater are not what they advertise. My regret is not moving Mom sooner.

My grandmother lived at Clearwater for 3 1/2 years before she passed away the last day of September of this year. I paid her October rent on the 27th of September and I still have yet to receive a refund. I'm told that the corporate office is working on it, for 2 1/2 months? I call the community to get an update of when i should be receiving the refund and never get a call back. I email almost daily and never get a response back. This is beyond ridiculous! Communication goes along way but being ignored is all I get. I call the corporate office and leave messages and get nothing back. Shall I go into how they left my grandmother on her death bed soaking wet in the same clothes I put on her for 2 days. After finding my grandmother in that state I expressed my concerns. The next day when I came back I find her completely soaked again and again express my concern. Or how the care staff checked on her 1 time in a 24 hr period(I was there). How about when I had to wake the noc med tech up 3 times for her to give my grandmother meds to keep her comfortable. Not to mention her ac unit not working for 2 month in the heat of the summer. I had asked several times for it to be fixed. I even told them what things to check ( I'm an Environmental Servce Director in Senior living) and offered to install a new unit if they had one or switch it with an empty apartment. I will never recommend this place again. In fact I will warn people about this place.

My mother moved to Clearwater Springs 3 years ago after a brief (nightmare) time at another assisted living facility. From the beginning, we could see that Clearwater was different. Cleaner, more staff, more active, healthier food. And most important, staff who cared. Clearwater has a caring and compassionate culture that starts with management and is embraced by the staff. Thank you to everyone who helped make my mother's time at Clearwater enjoyable - Mary, Chasity, Melyssa, Heather, Taylor, Cy, and so many more whose names I never knew or do not remember. You all made a difference to me and my family.
