You can feel the change on so many aspects and it makes you want to pull family members away and bring them to a better and safer place. I'm going am expose this abusive behavior from clearwater management. Let me be unequivocally clear: I am writing to demand immediate and decisive action regarding the appalling working conditions in your Memory Support Unit, which are directly and dangerously compromising the quality of care provided to residents — including my grandfather. During multiple visits, I have consistently observed severe understaffing. Caregivers are visibly overwhelmed, struggling to deliver even the most basic level of care. This is not a matter of inconvenience — it is a direct threat to the safety and dignity of your residents. Your staff, despite their dedication, are clearly being exploited, undervalued, and placed under unmanageable pressure. What is equally unacceptable is the abusive behavior exhibited by members of your management team. I personally witnessed Emma, the director, publicly mistreating a caregiver, and Jenn, the assistant, aggressively pressuring staff into accepting additional and double shifts. Their behavior was unprofessional, hostile, and demoralizing. The toxic environment they are creating does not just affect your employees — it endangers every resident in your care. There is no ambiguity: The well-being of your staff directly impacts the quality of resident care. Your current failure to support your team and to rein in managerial misconduct is a serious breach of duty and a gross dereliction of your responsibilities as a care provider. Consider this an ultimatum: Clearwater must take immediate, transparent steps to resolve these urgent issues. This includes: Correcting the staffing crisis with appropriate caregiver-to-resident ratios. Holding management accountable for fostering a hostile work environment. Implementing clear, measurable changes to ensure resident safety and staff. Let me be clear: if I do not receive a timely and satisfactory response, I will be forced to ask my mother to remove my grandfather from your care and report these conditions to all appropriate authorities, including state licensing boards, elder abuse hotlines, and local regulatory agencies. Clearwater was very helpful as I visited several locations in search of the best place for my loved one. They applied no pressure, answered all of my questions very honestly and did very thing possible to help the process move smoothly within MY desired timeframe. I have NOT been disappointed. I do not live in the area, and find it is very comforting to received reports from friends, family and our primary doctors (Reno VA) that the entire Clearwater staff has been very helpful when they visit and they are quite impressed with The Community. Without question, my loved one is happy to be living at Clearwater. PS. my loved one is a very fussy about food --- and gives Clearwater five stars.

As a one-time visitor, I was utterly appalled by the deplorable conditions at Clearwater, where my mom's friend is unfortunately stuck in memory care. The management's rudeness and unprofessionalism were glaringly obvious from the moment I walked in. The neglect and lack of care were palpable. The employees are clearly overworked and under-supported, struggling to provide even basic care. It's a disgrace how this place is run, reflecting nothing but mismanagement and complete indifference to the well-being of its residents. I cannot stress this enough: do not, under any circumstances, place your loved ones in this godforsaken facility. The neglect and poor conditions are unbearable, and your family deserves so much better. Clearwater is a dumping ground for the elderly, and they treat their residents with the same disregard they show their employees. Avoid at all costs!
