Clearwater Ahwatukee

In January my parents who are in their early 80s, moved into Clearwater Ahwatukee from their home in AZ. The transition that was needed was very scary and different from the life they had been living. From day one the staff was beyond kind, compassionate, and patient with both my parents, my sister and myself. They took the time to help all of us in this massive transition and continue to share humility that is needed for such a life change at this age. My sister and I have never been more comfortable and gracious for the continued open dialog and precise explanations of all the services, opportunities and most importantly, “eyes on”, our parents. We just want to know they are okay, and, they are! My Dad is suffering from dementia and my mom is his caregiver. The process of “Parenting Parents” is SO MUCH EASIER with them being at Clearwater Ahatukee. My sister and I are out of state and visit when we can, but the communication with the management is open when we ask for it and my Mom continues to say how wonderful it is to be a resident here. The accolades she gives the staff and the overall residence community, for her situation, is stellar. Her comfort cannot be more perfect even with the new hurdles facing her daily with our father. Personally, I feel like they are in the very best place for them at this stage. I am grateful and overwhelmed with the staff who consistently smile and provide kindness to my parents daily. Thank you beyond these words. I am happy that we are not alone on this journey and for what feels like a miracle, we are all here together. PS. After submitting this review I read other reviews and there are some that talk about the decor. I don’t know about 2 years ago, but the place is like an art museum. From the different paintings in each hallway, to the decor all around the facility, I hold back the temptation from becoming an art thief with each visit. The place is clean, tight and welcoming. I find a new piece of art to admire with each visit as I do hallway laps with my Dad. Don’t allow old reviews to sway your opportunity to visit if you or your parent(s), are looking for a community to live in.

You can stop your search for your assisted living facility. Here at Clearwater you find the most positive mental attitude among the residents. As in the three bears story, this place is “JUST RIGHT”. The atmosphere is continually full of life with all the amenities. The apartments are so efficient for each ones needs, the entertainment is ongoing, the physical activity is efficient for each ones needs, the food menu is healthy and varied. Don’t pass this opportunity to come and join a staff that is continually there for all your needs immediately with an added smile and genuine support. Welcome home!

I go visit a couple that lives here and they absolutely love it. They moved in when the place first opened and so they’ve seen it grow and mature into what it is today. The apartment is spacious, there are two bedrooms in this particular model with a Full kitchen. The back patio is very convenient for those with dogs because they’re able to get out directly from the apartment. Staff is amazing and attentive. And the food looks delicious.

We had such a wonderful experience touring Clearwater Ahwatukee Assisted Living and Memory Care. Diana gave us a warm welcome and an incredibly informative tour—she was knowledgeable, kind, and made us feel right at home. During our visit, we enjoyed lunch, and the service provided by Tyler and Eraina was exceptional. They were attentive, friendly, and made the meal feel special. The food itself was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so enjoyable. Clearwater Ahwatukee truly stands out for its warm hospitality, professional care, and welcoming atmosphere.
