Clarks Summit Senior Living

Thinking this was the best thing for my mom was so wrong. She was in clarks summit living for 3 days and had a fall at the facility was put in hospital for 12 days with broken tailbone. They released her on April 1st to fall again that night.A total of 32 days in hospitals/facilities do to this placeThey did not inform me and took her to the hospital of their choice not the hospital she was at that support her current Dr. Clarks summit failed to access my mom and had her moved to a nursing home while still charging me for meds and care she didn't get. Paid 4 months for 4 days of care. BEWARE IF JENN, CATHY,AMY!!! ALSO THEY DOUBLE DIP IN THAT 30 DAY NOTICE THEY HAD SOMEONE ELSE MOVE IN AND CHARGED THEM AS WELL. NO REFUND NO CORPORATE NUMBER TO CALL. AWFUL!!!!!!

I highly recommend Clarks Summit Senior Living to anyone in need of a senior facility. The staff is amazing and do care about doing a great job. Sue made sure everything we needed was taken care of by the staff. They have transportation for the residents and the activities available are incredible. If you or a loved one need this type of facility, this is the place you want to be. I actually can not express how wonderful this facility was and how well they took care of my loved one.

My mom has been there for more than a year. We were unsure of what to expect when i showed up unannounced and asked for a tour. It was the best stop i made. The people who work there truly care so much about the residents and their families. They are so kind, patient and understanding. The place is spotless and the rooms are spacious. The food is very good and there are plenty of activities and things to do for the people who live there. The care my mom has received is outstanding. We always feel welcome when we visit. The workers keep us posted on her care and its outstanding value for the money. Don't hesitate to put your loved on in their hands.

Choosing a new place to call home for a loved one is never easy. My hope is that someone right now is reading this review and will feel more at ease in making that decision. In 2008 my mom was a resident at Clarks Summit Senior living (it's former name then was New seasons). Although her stay was short, for eight months she received the finest care from the kindest people. Last Summer we faced that decision again in choosing a new place to call home for my mother-in-law. There wasn't any hesitation in that decision because we knew the best place for her in our area was Clarks Summit Senior living. My mother-in-law loved it from the moment we walked through the door. Sue Chapin, the admissions director greeted us and we quickly realized she had been there in that position while my mom was there in 2008. It once again felt like family. Sue helped us get through the admissions process, and it happened quickly! (She's the best😊) My mother-in-law enjoys all the delicious meals, gets involved in some of the many activities like music therapy, fun exercising, Bible reading/teaching & prayer time. There's also live entertainment & the on-site beauty Salon gives her the independence to care for herself. Weather permitting, the grounds are beautiful & perfect for walking & she truly enjoys that time! On Sunday mornings there is transportation to church which is such a blessing! They also offer (free of charge) transportation to doctor visits & shopping trips. This facility has just been fully remodeled and is just beautiful. We are thankful for all the staff at Clarks Summit Senior living, thank you for all you do. 💕
