We visit our friend, Kathy, in assisted living to play canasta with her every month. We like to bring snacks and beverages to enjoy while playing for a couple hours. We find it difficult to find a suitable place for us to play and consume our snacks and beverages. Yesterday when I arrived the whole bistro area was overtaken by a family with lots of children and changing diapers on the bench. As a result I went to the book room to set up to play for a couple of hours. We were visited by your concierge and general manager to tell us that no food was allowed in this area. A group of women who play bridge on Monday afternoons in this area told us the same thing. Where exactly can we play with our friend Kathy? Her room isn't big enough. If the bistro isn't available where should we go? We just want to spend a few hours with our friend doing what we have done for 14 years before Kathy became disabled.

We love Clarendale! From the very first meeting through to now, they are a joy to work with. Maureen is a light! My loved ones are safe and doing well. It's difficult to lose independence, but Clarendale has eased the burden for my them. Plus there are actually a lot of residents that are quite independent. To my family and I, we felt like we were being welcomed into an upscale hotel, but still retaining a cozy vibe. (It doesnt feel like an "old folks home.") I want to thank them for everything!

One word....AMAZING! Maureen, you were the light i needed to show me the way, and I cannot thank you enough. I visited many places and I finally found the right place for my Dad. Thank you for all the return texts! Team Tom.
