My mom lived here for the last 2’years of her life. She loved it and they loved her. I highly recommend this facility and it’s so nice to see so many of the same people working there from the beginning when mom moved in. Even when my mom was more challenging, the staff kept loving on her understanding it was her disease, not her. That meant the world to her family. Thank you Charter Staff, I appreciate each of you 🌸🌸

My father moved into Charter Senior Living in April 2022 and stayed until he passed away in April 2023. My mother moved into Charter Senior Living in October 2022 and she still resides there. We absolutely love this place. They take very good care of our mother. Everything is always kept very clean. They have so many activities that residents can choose to do if they wish. There is no pressure on them though if they do not feel up to participating in the activities they offer. The staff always takes very good care of our mother. The staff has always been friendly to us and make us feel welcome there. The executive staff is always helpful if there is any type of problem with insurance or anything like that. I highly recommend Charter Senior Living for your loved one’s care.

When I was visiting my aunt last weekend, she told me that one of the day help were very rude to her. She hasn’t been feeling well and feels very weak and doesn’t want to go to dine, but the helper told her that she should go and my aunt was hurting her by not going to dinner. This is unprofessional of that staff person. While My aunt was in her room she felt a draft, and she said the window was left open during the frigid weather. One of the ladies who provided therapy to my aunt, saw the window slightly open and closed it. I asked my aunt how long the window was open. She said it’s been open for quite some time and nobody took care of it. Please treat senior citizens well and don’t abuse them! If you don’t like your job, find another one.

Both my grandmother and aunt have resided at Morningside. Due to the quality care I even referred a friends parent who also lived there. The staff are kind and accommodating. They have been a huge help in helping them adjust to a new environment. They treat them both with respect. The facility is clean and quiet. Activities are available everyday and are relevant to the residents and the years they enjoyed most. The food is very good and “homey”. Both my grandmother and aunt have commented how much they like it. Then there is Jules Johansson. She is the second director of the facility I have had contact with. She is so nice and available to our family. She addresses any and all concerns in a timely manner. She treats my family with respect and dignity. My aunt loves to hang out in her office and she always finds time for her. Morningside was quite a find for our family. No placement guilt or regrets for putting our family there. We have peace of mind for the quality of care they are receiving.
