I give Cedarhurst and All their staff 5 stars. The love and care they gave my mom was above and beyond🩷 I HIGHLY recommend them if you are looking for a Great place for your loved one. The first time I went to visit I knew my mom would love it. So clean, bright and it just felt like home. I lived out of State and any question I may have had they always answered right away. My mom passed away in September. I miss visiting my mom dearly but, I also miss seeing the staff, they became family to me too.

From the moment l walked in the front door of Cedarhurst Living l knew it was the right place for my father. The place was all lit up and bright. The giant fireplace and the lounge chairs are all so inviting. The associates at the front desk are happy to help you. A lit up eating area on the right and a theater on the left. My father stays in memory care . The associates in that area are all so attentive to whatever the needs are for the people whom reside there. There is also things going on all day to keep the residents occupied. I wouldnt have my father be at any other place. Thank you Cedarhurst and associates.

In April 2024, my 90-year-old Dad and 82 year old step-mother moved into Cedarhurst of Topeka. After living independently for their entire adult lives, it was understandably a difficult transition. They had always been a socially active couple and made friends everywhere they went. The staff at Cedarhurst were very accommodating and welcoming, encouraging them to, at their pace, engage with the residents, and participate in planned activities. As the first year rolled on, they made many new friends, and adapted to the assisted living lifestyle, while battling multiple health issues associated with their ages. In March 2025, my stepmother became ill and passed. It was unanticipated and obviously a very painful experience for Dad. I spent that first week at Cedarhurst with him, chatting with staff, dining with him and residents and sleeping in a chair in their apartment. What I experienced in that week was an incredibly compassionate group of employees, who understood how close our parents were. Although my initial focus upon them moving in was ensuring my parents were satisfied in all aspects of their new residence, what I did not anticipate was the level of support from Cedarhurst employees following the loss of a loved one. It takes special people to dedicate their lives to caring for the elderly. The staff were wonderful examples of compassion and comfort with lots of hugs, shared tears, quiet conversations and frequent offers to assist Dad any way they could. The importance of quality care and compassion, during the waning stages of life, cannot be understated. The support Dad received in the subsequent days and weeks following her passing has warmed my heart. Our family is forever grateful to the Cedarhurst staff for the care and support provided to our parents. Thank you, Jessie and team, for all you've done and all you continue to do! You are very much appreciated!
