They have made it so easy for us to get our loved one settled. Staff is so nice and understanding. Family member has been there a couple weeks and loves it, said nurses are really nice and caring. She loves the food and can eat as much as she wants. The other place didn't allow that or know how to care for her with her needs. The nurse Jenny goes out of her way to text updates and makes sure her needs are met. They have made everything easy for us!

My mother’s been at Cedarhurst for 4 months and we are navigating through some communication issues since she recently fell and is currently hospitalized. I spoke with a representative from Cedarhurst today and very pleased with the results.

The staff that does hands on care of the residents are normally good. The big problem for over 6 months is a new director came into the memory care area and it’s been bad. Samantha (Sam) doesn’t have the needed experience and good judgment to do her job effectively. It is a struggle to deal with her for us. A big problem is that families have taken care of their elderly family member for years before they came there and they don’t need Sam, without the needed expertise, micromanaging them on what’s best for our own immediate family member. Sam is not involved with all of the resident’s adult children or siblings, only who she chooses to be. She’s also not good with following up with issues, and overcomplicate things. Sam has not always been honest when dealing with her at times. Neither of the former Clark House directors ever did any of this stuff. It’s like night and day there now. We would’ve highly recommended this place to anyone before she came. The previous directors were great. Families should be able to enjoy the time we have left with our immediate family member without hassles and frustration and disappointments. The Executive Director running the place, we do not trust her now. You cannot go to her to get help and expect change. We are in a bad position because we can’t move our family member to another location because change is hard on them. We already went through long term care with other family members so we know it does not ever need to be like this. It is a frustrating and sad situation.

A "lodge" feel when you walk in. Very impressive common spaces. All day dining. Bistro area and bar area. Great patio space with mini golf/putting green. Residents seem happy & content.
