I'd like to share my outstanding experience with Cedarhurst Sr Living Center in Farmington, MO, particularly the Memory Care Unit where my dad resided. The apartment was spacious, and the dining room was beautiful, offering daily specials and a craft menu. The outdoor garden and sitting area were lovely, and the staff were wonderful, taking exceptional care of the memory care residents. My dad formed a special bond with Amanda, the Director of Nursing, who would join him for morning coffee and listen to his life stories. Valerie, the CMT, ensured his medications were accurate and also formed a friendship with him allowing him to live his best life. The entire staff was friendly and always available to assist my dad with his needs. If you have a loved one looking for Assisted Living or Assisted Living with memory care, i guarantee you will not find a more loving and welcoming home.

Hello, Let me start by saying looking for an assistant living facility for family is one of the hardest decisions one will make. I cried when I realized it was time to look at one for my father. I did have an advantage since I am a Paramedic in this area and already knew what my top 3 facilities were. I even picked to tour a place that was: a “not so good” facility. I went to all four places to get prices, meet the staff and the DON. Checking behind the scenes even more than I already do when I pick up patients in my area. After all of that, Cedarhurst outshined all the rest. My father needs an Alzheimer’s locked facility, and he needed assisted living. He did not need a “nursing home”. Cedarhurst sat with my sister and I, gave us the breakdown of care, pricing, outings, physical therapy, Beauty shop, their breakdown of meals served. They were so informative upfront and we meet everyone from each department. My sister and I made the best decision and that was Cedarhurst. My Dad has been here for a year and he is treated like the amazing person he is. I can’t recommend this facility enough. Always, do your own research, and of course meet face to face to any facility you are thinking about. Take the time to write questions before you go in. The staff here will do their best to help you make an informed decision. I hope this helps.

Cedarhurst of Farmington is without a doubt, an Assisted Living community holds a special place in my heart. From the moment I step through the doors, I am overwhelmed by the genuine care and dedication shown by the staff. The Office Manager's words about being the “best in St. Francois County” are not just empty boasts, but a true reflection of the exceptional level of service provided. Each visit to see my friend & join in on a fun activity, fills me with warmth, knowing that they are not only in a beautiful environment, but are truly loved and cared for. This community is more than just a building, it is a beacon of positivity and compassion in St. Francois County.

This is one of the nicest retirement facilities ive ever experienced, yet alone had the pleasure of working with. I can only hope for a place this nice when i need assistance in my later years. I was hired to maintain and balance their amazing cichlid aquarium and cant wait to display this tank once i get it to its potential. Be sure to check their brand new state if the art building and be sure to visit the fish while you are there. V
