My father lived there two months before passing away. Our family does not feel he received the care he should have received. The memory care nurse lost the completed paperwork for my dad to seen by the staff doctor. The paperwork was completed a second time, turned in and lost again. The night he passed away we were told the care technician couldn’t determine if he was breathing or not and had to call the hospice nurse to come to his room. My father’s skin was yellow when we arrived. We’re asked if the care technician noticed and we’re were told their care staff was not trained to notice the change in a residents skin color. Since June 2024 I’ve requested copies of his records. I was promised copies of his records and and have not received them.

My mom has been a resident at Cedar Bluff for over a year. She had a stroke, and we needed a place that would be able to meet her needs. She went from being independent to needing help, and the staff there is amazing. They are always very friendly and helpful. Cedar Bluff has everything she needs. There is a PT/OT/ST office there at the facility which is awesome. I also love that they have a hair salon. I really appreciate that the staff takes such good care of my mom. The Cedar Bluff team, from front desk staff to all the aids are the best.

Rhonda is awesome! She always tries to help my mom to get out of her room and do activities. She is always available when I text. Lydia is so friendly and helpful. The aides are also very good. Upper management needs some work.

I seriously have to give this a one star. I have left 3 different messages to talk to someone about respite care and no one has bothered to call me back.
