My dad and I moved my mom into Cardinal Court this week. Their motto is People.Passsion.Excellence. This motto was certainly shown this week! Mom's move in went so smoothly! At our Roundtable discussion before she moved in, I was able to personally meet with the Chef - Joey, Activities Director - Kailey Health Services Coordinator- Dustin and Community Development Director - Holly. Holly and Dustin have truly taken such good care of me and my dad during this difficult process, so I am confident that they will take care of mom. Any question I have asked they have answered with lots of passion and concern for my uncertainties. I see a staff that has passion for their residents. I was so impressed with David in the dining area with his guidance and friendliness. He asked about my mom's food preferences and likes and made sure that she was seated with the perfect residents to eat with. He then personally walked us to the first activity. It is apparent that the employees enjoy working at Cardinal Court. They are readily available to help not only residents but visiting families. They encouraged us to visit often and take part in the activities with mom and the residents. Every room that we have been in has a beautiful view to the outside patios and indoor courtyard. For me this is beautiful as I love to see the outside and feel like I am in my home with lots of windows. I was so impressed that an aide that is not assigned to my mom's area remembered who I was, and who my mom was was so willing to help me with my questions. I'm sorry I don't know her name! Every time I have visited the nurses station they have made time for me and answered my questions with so much patience and concern. Thank you so much to Penni Dunlap, Executive Director who personally answered the phone the other day to help me out. It is clear that you have such an impressive staff that works well together. I am grateful to become a part of your family as we participate with you during this time of our lives. I have already told my husband and grown children that if I develop any form of. dementia that I would want to be taken to Cardinal Court or to use their community as a benchmark to reflect the kind of care I would like to receive in my "Golden Years." Thank you so much Cardinal Court! Debbie Gonczy

We’ve been thoroughly impressed with the care that has been provided for my mom at cardinal court in Strongsville. From the minute, we walked through the door, and met Holly and the staff we knew we found the right place. It is extremely difficult to make this decision and finding the right care for our mom who who is dealing with Alzheimer’s disease was our priority. Everyone at Cardinal Court takes the time to get to know my mom, says hello to her, provides a safe space for her as well as for us, when we go and visit her. We continue to be impressed with the care and compassion that is provided to my mom and the other residents there.

We had to find a Memory Care Facility fairly quickly for our mom after our dad passed away. We visited several facilities and found Cardinal Care to be the best fit. Four months later, I couldn't be happier with our decision. The home is always clean and well kept. The staff is amazing. They are friendly, accommodating and are so kind and patient with my mom and all residents. I visit on different days of the week and at different times, and no matter when I go, I always can see how much everyone cares for the residents. I would highly recommend Cardinal Court to anyone who has a loved one in need of a full-time memory care.

I feel the head “nurse” has too much power over the medical needs and the nurse practitioner that visits puts all control in her hands. She even said to me that he will do whatever she asks. He is not flexible to individual needs in my opinion.
