This facility should not be called an assisted living rather un - assisted living. My family member fell and was not assisted for several hours. The residents have an “alert” button they were around the neck that goes unanswered. The door bell to the facility is never working. When my family member asked for the smallest amount of assistance the response from the staff was that she would be charged for assistance ( a fee for assistance). Also the staff is never available. On a visit with my family member a staff member by the name of Priscilla told me that because it was an assisted living all the laundry and trash my family member had in their room would have to be put up and the trash thrown out by me since my family member was not able to do it. Several times my family member asked for her bed to be replaced. As the bed the facility provided was two different sizes of mattress and box spring. The staff does not care they do the least amount of work possible. If you love your family member do not send them to live in this facility. The facility promotes death versus assisted living.

My Dad lived at Brookdale Camino Real for the past 10 months. The staff was first rate. Emily, Tammy, Sylvia and Nee to name a few were so increadibly kind to him. The facility is well managed, maintained and kept very clean. I visited Dad many times per week during his stay and felt like the staff had the residents best interest at heart. All the best to my Texas Friends at Camino Real!! Joe

My grandma moved in here a month ago, and I really couldn't be more happy with the quality of service! All the staff are professional, kind and excellent. The place is clean and homey. It's also quiet and peaceful here unlike many of the other options around San Antonio. It's the happiest I've seen my grandma in many years. Thanks guys!
