The only reason for the 1 star, is to acknowledge the handful of caregivers that treated my mother with care and kindness. My mother was at Cadence for just over a year. The care, food and cleanliness would vacillate dramatically from week to week. The "med techs" handed out the medication, but were not capable of handling anything more serious. Upon responding to my mother's complaint that she could not catch her breath, the "med tech" said her room was too warm and opened a window. The next morning I took her to the ER and she was admitted to the hospital for a week. Her room (as well as several others) had frequent ant infestations. If the ants showed up after maintenance went home for the evening, you were on your own to buy spray and eradicate them. It was also quite unfortunate that the dead ants were never cleaned up after being sprayed, even though the rooms were "cleaned weekly". It was like having a dead ant boneyard throughout the apartment. The actions were always "reactive" and never "proactive". When she moved in, we did not test the stove to confirm it would work and when I went to cook her dinner, we discovered that the stove was not connected. Money was wasted on the food that was purchased and it was too late for her to get anything from the kitchen. It took several days to get the stove connected. Her thermostat did not work for the last month she stayed there (as well as several other residents) and was still not fixed well over a month after she left. She moved out in the middle of November, 2025 and we are still waiting for a $2600+ refund. I cannot reach anyone at the corporate office. When I reach out to the person who handles to finances at Cadence, I am unable to get contact information for anyone at the Cogir USA corporate office. Save your money and frustration and look elsewhere. We could not afford to move her out sooner or we most certainly would have.

My parents are residents of Cadence. (We visited many other facilities prior to deciding on Cadence.) It is a beautiful, newer facility and always smells fresh! The rooms are nice, with a full kitchen and large bathroom. It is an active community with activities, crafts, games, and live music taking place regularly. The restaurant serves daily specials, but also has a regular menu to choose from. I enjoy dining with my parents when visiting. A favorite of my Moms is a large fountain in the center of the courtyard which the property surrounds. Another favorite is that it is a dog friendly community with a relief section safely located within the courtyard. My Mom has her little dog living with her, which brings her tremendous joy! The staff is another plus. Always smiling and willing to help! I definitely recommend taking a tour to determine if it is a good fit for your loved one(s).

I don't have enough good remarks for Cadence Living and Terrie Vidana in RC. First, the place is beautiful and spacious, full of modern art in the walls and relaxing gardens. The Gym, Library, movie theater and activity rooms are very inviting, you just want to sit and soak it all in. The restaurant is elegant and has great views of the mountains which you can enjoy with a good meal and a glass of wine. That's for the facility. Second, and most important, the personnel. From the front desk and ambassador s like Terrie, to the restaurant service to the attendants, nurses and mantainance crew they all are so friendly and attentive, quick to respond a exceed your expectations. There is no better place for my mom to live in and we love to visit her quite often... Actually we would like to live there when we retire

Well ok boy Sebastian as the song goes, 'looks like we made it!'. That's my cat over there, yeah he and I finally made our step count this time. Moving into Cadence put me right in step with where I need to be.Comfortable room, well-balanced meals, lots of new friends, a movie theater and best of all my medicine nurses, oh and housekeeping changes my bed and oh, oh Sebastian's very own Poop-Scoop Gal comes to visit not once but twice a week! There's so much more. Well it's 'bout time I got both me and Sebastian in step; I'm counting on Cadence. Home Sweet Home. Anita Kizzee-Basinger Retired Major USAFNC
