Brookdale Wornall Place is an upscale independent living and assisted living community that provides all the comforts of home without any of the chores. Our staff handles the cooking, cleaning and home maintenance so you can focus on what’s most important, enjoying yourself. Located in Kansas City, Missouri, we’re nestled in a cozy wooded area, providing a beautiful backdrop to live a full and active life. If you need a little extra assistance with your daily living activities, we’ll help with bathing, dressing, personal grooming and mobility. Our staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency. And our seniors enjoy the convenience of not having to figure out what to make for dinner or who is going to do the dishes!
You’ll love calling our gorgeous campus home, with its charming brick exterior and large windows throughout, which bathe our communal spaces in bright natural light. My mother-in-law lived at Brookdale from Sept. of 2022 through most of March, and passed away Mar. 24 2023. My father-law is still living there. The staff was a tremendous help and very sympathetic when my mother-in-law became gravely ill. Throughout their stay they have received excellent care and friendly service at all times. They enjoyed all the programs, gatherings and social opportunities provided. Brookdale was and remains a perfect fit. My mother-in-law stated it was one of the best places she ever lived.

This Brookdale building is filled with so many compassionate staff members that truly care about the work that they do! You can see the genuine connections that are made between residents, families, and staff. The Administrator, Kiva, is thoughtful in her approach to how she can best meet the needs of her families and staff.
