Before placing my mother in this facility they sent a nurse over to evaluate my mom in order to see what level of care she needed. The nurse seemed somewhat flippant, but I was going to be in the hospital and needed someone to take care of my mother. A large fee was charged just to get her in. The staff who worked there were extremely nice. I can’t say the same for the nurse, I think her name was Lisa. My mother laid there for days complaining of pain with no treatment. I sent some special toothpaste and other things to her and the nurse just kept it until I confronted her about it. The last straw was when they continued to allow a male resident to keep going into my mother’s room and showing my mom ways to get out of the facility unnoticed. She obviously needed a higher level of care. The amount they were going to charge us for that was more than I could afford. I was trying to make arrangements to place her someplace else when they told me she caught COVID and needed to be removed from their facility asap. I had to pay for another agency to stay round the clock in the room with my mother for the next couple of days which was also a huge cost. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The staff at Clare Bridge is the best! They are very attentive to my mom's needs both physical and emotional. They are kind, warm and loving with her as well as me! They keep me updated on her health and her all around being. I can't express my gratitude enough for everyone there.

We moved my mother here at the beginning of July 2024. The staff is friendly and attentive, despite some of the residents acting poorly to them. The onsite nurse coordinates with the physical therapists and the doctor that most people use, and will call if there is the slighted issue. Sara gets her to and from her doctor appointments and Coleen gets her involved in activities. They will move new residents to different tables at dinner, so new residents get to know people. It's really more like a dorm than a retirement home. I pop in at random times, and have never seen any concerns. Todd, the general manager, is great too. The only complaint is that my mother sometimes gets the wrong food that she ordered the prior day. She does like the food though. The “outing day” is always the same day, so my mom can’t participate due to the hairdresser only coming that day. Great place!
