Has the pleasure being with my sister her first 4 days at Brookdale. Found the staff pleasant and informative and always with a positive attitude. Looking forward to getting to spend more time with Barb in December!

I moved my mother who has dementia in here about 2 weeks ago. My mother is REAL pain. However so far I'm not impressed. Very disorganized. Lack of communication. You ask for something like knobs for you're loved ones room and good luck getting follow through for days. I've been asking for a garage clicker for a week now with now follow through. At least three "need to knows" we're addressed to me in passing as oh by the way, which is not professional. They can't seem to get my mom's name spelled right which makes me concerned that they don'tpay attention to details or other things that could be more serious. The food is gross to look at, let alone consume. I chose this Brookdale location because they take Medicaid and are close to me. Otherwise I'd put my mother elsewhere. What should one expect for almost 6k a month? Seems like they only care about money and recruiting residents. Good luck getting a return call or text from the rental manager unless it involves money. Alyssa is the only employee there that is worthy and passionate.

I found the best when my daughter found this place for me! The administration and staff are way beyond good, they become like my extended family! Their dedication to meeting our needs, going way beyond expectations and making a bad day so much better is part of every day that I've experienced here! I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!!!!

Brookdale West Seattle's new management is terrific. They proactively respond to residents with kindness and respect. The dining room is airy and beautiful and the rooftop deck is a big plus. The nursing staff is responsive to emergencies and everyday issues and don't nickel and dime residents for bandaids. We looked at all the assisted living facilities in West Seattle and this was the best for my mom. It's an easy location for commuters dropping by to see their parents after work. Neighborhood walking can be a challenge but they have plenty of excursions.
