Residents can choose between multiple pet-friendly apartment options, from studios to one-bedrooms. Each apartment is designed with a kitchenette, spacious storage, and lots of great window light.
If you live a mostly independent lifestyle but could use little extra help with daily activities, our assisted living program may be right for you. Assisted living provides help with medications, dressing, and bathing, as well as services like housekeeping, meals, and transportation coordination. For our memory care residents, we help seniors find a sense of belonging and purpose with community areas designed for safe engagement with activities like gardening or woodworking. Melissa provided unparalleled caring, understanding, and professional support, guiding my family through this emotionally tough process with immense grace. Shortly after, meeting Nurse Sherri solidified my decision. This duo demonstrates an extraordinary combination of genuine compassion and professional expertise. Their immediate support made us feel completely secure, leading me to cancel all other scheduled tours. During my father's first month, the standard of life and community has been exceptional. Brookdale actively fosters a vibrant, inclusive environment, evidenced by the wonderful events they host, including a memorable Veterans Day luncheon and a warm, invited Thanksgiving lunch that my father and I enjoyed immensely. The entire staff maintains a consistently upbeat and welcoming demeanor; they are always smiling and greeting residents and guests, indicating a high level of job satisfaction and commitment to their roles. My father just moved into Clarebridge, the Memory Care portion of Brookdale West Ashley. Melissa (Sales and Marketing), Michelle (Sales Assistant) and Wilson (Executive Director) were all wonderful and very inviting. The Caregivers all seemed compassionate and understanding of my father's need and transition. It took 5 years, but because of Melissa's diligence and follow up, we were able to get him there. Looking forward to a continued good experience!!!!

Always viewed any facility like Brookdale as scary place and not a place I would want to be or send a family member. However, Brookdale has forever changed my mind. I not only feel comfortable with the idea of any of my family members being a resident, I myself would feel very comfortable being there, if the necessity was that. I am grateful 🙏 for all you do.
