I would not place my loved one here. Most of the good reviews are very old, but we were there this year; I placed my 95 year old Dad here, it was so bad, in the first week, there were medication errors, and no housekeeping, they weren’t brushing his teeth, missed taking him to dinner and did not check on him every two hours as we were told would be done, he received no assistance to the restroom because they said they didn’t have the staff, this caused rash and bed sores, we had family there most of the days, and witnessed all of this. The staff was working double shifts and more, they were all very nice, unfortunately they are understaffed and overworked. We met with the Nursing supervisor, and CEO and got no where. My dad developed bed sores and was not well cared for, he was miserable, so we ended up taking him out after 26 days of being there, I contacted Corporate, but they didn’t care, instead they charged us another full month, for not giving them a 30 day notice. We were afraid we would lose my Dad if we left him there another day. If you don’t have a family member who is going to be there most of the time, trust me, you have no idea what is going on with your loved one.

My wife and I spent a good deal of time looking for a kind, caring, safe community for my 91 year old mother who has come to the point that she needs assistance with some of her day to day tasks. Brookdale Tracy has absolutely exceeded our expectations. From the first day, it was clear to me that the entire staff is focused on building a safe, loving community for their residents. My mother has been at Brookdale Tracy for about two and a half months now. The staff knows her well and is tuned in to all her various health needs. I have had constant pleasant contact with the executive director, the director of nursing, and the finance director as we've worked through getting her settled in her new home. I can't say enough about their attention to my mother's needs and their efforts to address any concern I have had. The tone they set is also clearly evident in the kindness of the caregivers that interact with my mother on a daily bases. If you are looking for a place where your loved one will find an extended caring family, this is it.

Always Nice to visit My Parent(s). Staff is always Nice & helpful. We took My Father & Step Mother out to Lunch. They are on the memory care side for my Step Mother. We visited w/them for an hr or so. I should say We came across a nurse a few times. Well first time I scared. I was standing in front of the bathroom door waiting for my Wife to come out. We should have told Her we were leaving. We waited at the door & no one came. After about 5 min I opened the door. Told the Lady at the desk sorry We waited but, in one came & we are not escaping. LOL
