Very sad news to find out within two weeks of moving our godfather to this facility that their staff was not able to handle his needs. I found that they were over medicating him and sending him to the hospital many times unresponsive. I addressed the facility many times with my concerns, and nothing was done. Our last straw was when I was at the facility on a Saturday expressed again to the nurses that I did not want him to be overmedicated in the mornings. On Sunday morning, I wake up to an email from the hospital, saying that my godfather is in the hospital unresponsive again. We received no phone call from Celebration Villa Of Tavares letting us know that our godfather was being sent over to the hospital yet again. I left a voicemail for Celebration Villa Of Tavares’s on Sunday morning and then again on Tuesday of that week. I still have not received a phone call back from those two messages. Needless to say that our godfather will never go back to this facility. I was told by the nurse that he got into the laundry room and they needed to medicate him so that he stopped wandering around the facility. I expressed that this was unacceptable and that a lock needed to be put on the laundry room door instead of over medicating their resident. They knew our godfather’s needs when they accepted him into their facility. I do not recommend this facility for anyone who has dementia or help with daily needs, even though the facility says they can handle them. There’s definitely not enough staff at their facility for the residence that they are accepting.

This great local bike shop became part of the Florida wide chain, but retained the personal touch. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They only sell Trek, but offer good prices on these excellent machines. The pedal assist E bike has given cycling back to my wife post knee replacement surgery.

I feel confident that both the products and service at David's World Cycle are high quality. My wife and I just bought 2 TREK bicycles from DAVID'S in Tavares. We are both very happy. Highly recommended.

Brookdale Tavares treated not just my Aunt & Uncle who were residents there as family, but my family too. They had excellent care and communicated with me during the entire pandemic. They let me know immediately when I could finally visit them and I would place any family member there if given the chance. I love them all and am appreciative of the love they showed to my family,
