With a memory care program rooted in a person-centered approach, your loved one will receive gentle encouragement and attentive care, so they're able to do more of what they love while preserving their identity and a sense of purpose. Our memory care community is nestled in Everett, Washington, right off Silver Lake.
Every morning, your loved one will wake up guided with a daily structured path of engagement designed to strengthen their cognitive, physical, and social skills. Activities they might enjoy include morning mental workouts, creative arts, and walking groups. In addition to these activities, your loved one will have the option to participate in one of our many daily community events, like:

Your loved one will also have their own space to call home. Whether you choose a private one-bedroom or two-bedroom companion suite floor plan, their cozy apartment will come equipped with a private bathroom, spacious closets, and large windows to let in plenty of natural light.
When it comes to your loved one's care plan, their care is customized to fit their needs. They'll enjoy housekeeping services and restaurant-style dining for all three meals of the day. Our care staff is also here to help with more involved daily tasks, like dressing, grooming, medication administration, moving around campus, and dining assistance.
You'll also find comfort in knowing that we have care staff on campus 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to any emergencies.

I can’t say enough about the incredible care my dad is receiving at Brookdale Silver Lake. All of the staff is deeply compassionate, attentive, and truly cares for the residents. My dad is in a late stage of decline, but due to the structure, patience, and incredible heartfelt care from his care team, he’s actually thriving in ways I didn’t think possible. He even tells me how much he likes it there, he even has made some friends with the other residents! They’ve brought much needed peace to myself and my brother during this very difficult time. I can't express how grateful we are for the care and environment, highly recommend, it's worth every penny.

My husband moved to Brookdale Silverlake one month ago and I am astonished at the improvements in his behavior in such a short time! He had suffered a very bad fall last November and endured two hospitalizations and two long stays in rehab. He was difficult to transfer due to extreme weakness and agitation and was often combative when staff tried to administer care. He did not notice other people or try to interact with them. The wonderful nursing staff at Silverlake perceived that he may be in pain and changed his medication. Within 2 days he was a new man! His outgoing personality has returned, and it is a joy to see him interact with the other residents. His appetite is very good now, and I look forward to him regaining the 50 pounds he lost over the winter. All of the staff at Silverlake, from reception to nursing to administration, are caring and compassionate and truly seem to enjoy interacting with the residents. Also, the facility is clean and lovely, with inviting outdoor spaces for the residents to enjoy. I can highly recommend Brookdale Silverlake!

My mother-in-law has lived here for 1-1/2 years. I would give the staff a A+ for all they do to bring joy to the residents. Mom always has a big smile when I come to visit so I know she feels at home there. Some of the activities she enjoys - arts and crafts, exercising, indoor gardening, and bingo. The highlight of each week is listening (and sometimes dancing) to live music on Thursday afternoons. I would highly recommend Brookdale Silverlake for your loved ones.

It takes very special people to care for individuals with dementia and their families that have to deal with it too. Brookdale Silver Lake has a great staff.
