Our staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency, but we’re also here to lend a hand with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, managing medication and coordinating with outside healthcare providers. You’ll get to choose just how much or how little help you want throughout the day and only pay for the services you really need while designing your personalized care plan before moving in.

My grandmother is currently a resident at Brookdale Santa Monica Gardens, and I wanted to take a moment to share my experience as a family member who regularly visits and interacts with the staff and residents. First and foremost, I’m incredibly grateful knowing my grandmother is surrounded by such a caring, attentive, and compassionate team. Every time I visit, the staff has been welcoming, helpful, and genuinely concerned about the residents’ well-being. It gives our family so much peace of mind knowing she is in good hands. A special shout-out to Amanda, the Executive Director, who I consistently see going above and beyond to support both her staff and residents. Her dedication to creating a positive, welcoming environment truly shows. Zulley, the Wellness Director, is absolutely on top of things! Her door has always been open to my grandmother, and it’s clear that she and her team genuinely care about the residents and have their best interests at heart. I also want to recognize Paloma, who is an amazing member of the team, and Yami at the front reception, who always greets me with a smile and makes me feel welcome from the moment I walk through the door. These little things make a big difference! Honestly, I could go on and on about the positive things I’ve experienced here. From the beautiful environment and wonderful staff to the great food (I’ll admit, I’ve definitely snuck a few bites of my grandmother’s meals during my visits 😂), Brookdale Santa Monica Gardens has truly impressed me. If you’re looking for a place where your loved one can feel at home, be surrounded by caring people, and receive genuine attention and support, I highly recommend this community. I would absolutely consider sending my own mom here one day, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Brookdale Santa Monica Gardens to my family, friends, or anyone looking for a wonderful assisted living community. Very fine residents at Brookdale Santa Monica Gardens. Mia the director is wonderful and the staff and nurses are amazing as well. We enjoy sitting outside under the sun and watching all those lovely flowers in the front courtyard. Also, there are many wonderful performances here, there’s singing, dancing, and great guitars. It’s all joyful being here for us! Resident ambassador Charles is amazing with Poetry every week and resident Rose is amazing with book club discussions. I love living here!!!

Mia the director is simply the most vibrant, competent person I’ve met in a LONG time. I chose this place because every time I went there to view a room, fill out paperwork, do some type of business, residents were happy and talking to each other. The staff was all engaged with the residents. The amount of communication between everyone was comforting, and everybody wanted to be there and do an excellent job. My mom is moving in there in a week and we are so excited to be a part of this Brookdale family. By the way, food is amazing and the cleanliness is impeccable… They are also doing AMAZING Work now with some cosmetic things. Lots of attention to detail.🙏❤️
