Brookdale Potomac is an assisted living and memory care community located in Potomac, Maryland, dedicated to helping you achieve all of that. We’re a cozy three-story building situated in a serene park-like setting, conveniently around the corner from the shops of Cabin John Village, as well as nearby area restaurants and parks.

We also have frequent off-site excursions to places like the Smithsonian and The National Gallery. And our residents love to attend concerts at Strathmore Concert Hall.
At Brookdale Potomac, we know that retirement shouldn’t be about chores. That’s why were here to do the cooking, cleaning and housework so you can focus on taking your favorite yoga class, tending to your plants in the garden or mingling at happy hour. Our specially-trained caregivers will help with medication management, bathing, grooming and coordination with outside healthcare providers. And our staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency.
Our industry-leading Clare Bridge memory care program provides a daily path of engagement that meets our resident's current skill level and allows them to flourish in our care, even with advanced expressions of the disease. We’ll also help with bathing, dressing, dining and mobility needs. And seniors will enjoy a daily calendar of research-backed activities, including gentle fitness classes, arts and music events and brain-boosting games.
Here you’ll have a choice of floor plans. With large sunny windows, spacious living areas and private bathrooms, you can decorate your apartment to fit your style. You’ll love eating in our restaurant-style dining room, listening to music by the piano in our fireside family room and relaxing in the shade of our covered porch.

Brookdale Potomac is doing a wonderful job caring for my husband. He loves the many varied activities, which include weekly field trips, as well as the food. The rooms & common areas are spacious, warm & inviting. The staff are extremely professional & caring. And the cost is below many comparable assisted living & memory care places in our area. I highly recommend Brookdale Potomac to anyone looking for themselves or their loved ones.

Brookdale Potomac is a positive environment for your aging parent. Those in charge are responsive and your loved one is treated well. The environment is pleasant. Parking is very easy and there are nearby shops to take your loved one to (i.e., Starbucks, Baskin Robbins, simple restaurants). The cost is still challenging for limited financial resources with long-term stays, but it seems to be less expensive than other options in the area. We also had experience at Brookdale Olney. We did like that property better as it was just more modern, more open and inviting as it was newer, but it was also a bit more expensive than Brookdale Potomac. We have been happy with the services received by our parent at Brookdale Potomac.

Marc in the sales dept is amazing! No pressure but provided all answers & checked in to make sure we were doing ok and to see if we had any questions or if anything had come up. Very sincere and attentive. Our loved one will be moving in! I’ll update the review in a few months.

Brookdale Potomac’s Activities Team led by Sharon and Chef Peter have got it going on. Extremely well organized and some really yummy refreshments are always available. Challenging games, fun and holiday music makes for a fabulous party. This is one of Santa’s favorite stops! Warmest wishes Santa Ezra
