Overview
Do you want to experience the best that senior living has to offer? If so, you might want to consider packing up your bags and making your home at Brookdale Lewiston. In addition to being in close proximity to the surrounding cities in northwestern Idaho and eastern Washington state, our assisted living community gives you the opportunity to exchange the burdens of homeownership for the freedom to do more of the things you love.
With 10 acres to explore and views of orchards, the Lewis-Clark Valley and Lewiston Hill, you’d be hard-pressed to find a more beautiful community to call home. You can enjoy the views from the balcony of your private and spacious apartment or head out on an excursion to one of the many local attractions.
Even though there’s so much to savor in the area, you don’t have to leave campus to have a good time. Our recreational calendar is packed to the brim with interesting activities and events, such as:
-
Daily fitness classes
-
Afternoon movie marathons
-
Art workshops
-
Game and trivia competitions
-
Live musical performances
You can even join your friends for flower arranging workshops, happy hour socials and virtual national park tours. How fun would it be to fill your week with that instead of watching sitcom reruns at home day after day?
We have a feeling you’re going to love our pet-friendly apartments. Each one has an abundance of natural light as well as roomy closets and plenty of space to bring along your favorite pieces of furniture — as well as host your grandchildren for afternoon tea or milk and cookies.
Perhaps one of the most important benefits of living here is your personalized care plan. Before you arrive, we’ll sit down and discuss how much, or how little, help you want with day-to-day tasks like bathing, dressing, managing medication and coordinating with outside healthcare providers. Once we know how much help you want, you’re free to enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing help is always here when you need it.

We were sold the Brookdale dream and are receiving a nightmare. Incentives sold at Brookdale are a room that will be cleaned and laundry that will be washed. Each time I have visited my dad his bathroom is filled with an aroma of urine and has fecal matter where you can see he has had a hard time and accidents along with no toilet paper. His laundry is always dirty, is ruined from sitting for so long with urine and every single time you ask someone to clean or do the laundry you are told the same excuse of being short staffed. From the first week he began residency I had to take laundry home and wash it myself. When my dad was placed on hospice, he began receiving more care services through hospice along with an additional 58 hours per week of outsourced caregiving paid for through the VA. Somehow Brookdale raised their services another $1100, which makes absolutely no sense since he is now receiving other outsourced care. They are charging for services that are not even being provided and double dipping on services provided through the outsourced agency. Once the caregiving agency started I began hearing that the employees at Brookdale were refusing to change my Dad at night and that when they arrive he is soaked. The employee from the caregiving agency even took my Dads clothes home to wash them herself after receiving the same excuse about being short staffed. They have been “short staffed” since we arrived. Billing is never short staffed. It is absolutely appalling to have to not only already go through your loved one being placed on hospice but also neglect while being upcharged for services not being performed. **I would like to add that Brookdale did work with me on fixing these issues and fixed the billing as well.
