Our assisted living and memory care campus is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood of Henderson, Texas, just a short drive from shopping centers, local restaurants, and local attractions like the Howard Dickinson House Museum.

There's never a dull moment here at Brookdale Henderson. And for our memory care residents, we also provide a structured daily path of engagement that focuses on strengthening current skills. Your loved one will receive gentle guidance and encouragement to participate in clustered group discussions, reading groups, fitness classes, creative art sessions, and morning mental workouts—all designed to help promote a sense of self and identity.
At the end of a long, fun-filled day, you need a place to call your own—a place you can call home. Residents can choose between several apartment floor plans, each designed with a private bathroom, spacious closet storage, and windows for plenty of natural light. We're also a pet-friendly community and welcome pets up to 25 pounds to join you at our community.
Our care programs are tailored to meet the needs of each individual. If you live a fairly independent lifestyle but need an extra hand with little things like grooming, dressing, or medication management, assisted living may be for you. With assisted living, you can maintain your independence while enjoying luxuries like housekeeping and restaurant-style dining.
For seniors with Alzheimer's or dementia, we offer a memory care program that is rooted in a person-centered approach. Our daily path of engagement, gentle guidance, and deeper level of care, such as help in moving around campus or dining assistance, all work together to help seniors flourish.
And of course, we understand how important safety and peace of mind are for you and your loved ones. That's why we have staff on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to an emergency.

My mother has been a resident at Brookdale for 6 years until last night when passed on. I actually live closer to Tyler but was drawn to the small town atmosphere in Henderson. I’m so glad I placed her in the memory care in Henderson. They provided extraordinary care. She received exceptional care every day that she was there. I spent a lot of time there the past few days and and no one ever entered or exited the room without a hug and an I love you to her! She was treated like everyone’s mom or favorite aunt. You could tell that they truly cared about her and her end of life! I am so thankful and humbled by the care and compassion that she received.

Every time I’ve visited, everyone seems to be in great spirits! Staff and residents all seem to enjoy their time there. The office staff feels so genuine! Everyone I speak to has a sense of purpose and you can tell it’s more than just a job to them. They are responsive to feedback and very open with communication.

This place is absolutely beautiful, clean, and the staff, and residents we met, couldn't have been any nicer, more inviting, and welcoming. I only wish my Mom could have afforded it. Mikayla, the Director, was So helpful in helping us find a place for my Mom though. Even asked to pray with us, afterwards. The Lord worked it all out, and Mom has a nice place to live now. (Not near as nice as Brookdale Henderson, but that's ok.) All thanks to Mikayla!! I highly recommend this home for your loved one!

My father, Fred has been here for five years. The staff is so caring. The food is good and the staff work hard to meet dietary preferences. Even before you walk inside; you can tell you're in the right place. Residents are often outside enjoying the sunshine. Christy Brown, Executive Director leads a great team. The activities are great. It seems as if the whole town of Henderson visits regularly. There's always something happening. Fred is in room 208. He makes crosses in his room and would love to give you one and pray for you. I am so pleased Dad can call this place home.
