Settle into your new home with comfortable common areas like our courtyard garden and living room, where you can read a book with a cup of tea by the stone fireplace. You’ll have several floor plans to choose from and our apartments are on the ground floor so they’re easy to access. In your private apartment, you’ll have plenty of natural window light and freedom to personalize your new home with your style. Some floorplans include a kitchenette for light meals, or you can join your friends in our dining room where our menus are all about you—your suggestions, your feedback and even your family recipes. And pets, who we consider to be part of the family, are welcome here.
With assisted living, you’ll have help with medications, dressing and bathing, as well as services like cooking, cleaning and transportation. We’ll handle all of the chores, so you focus on living your life to the fullest. You’ll also find comfort knowing that staff is on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency. That means you can spend time on the things you want to do while we take care of the rest.

I did a little volunteer work at the Goodlettsville Brookdale facility recently. Occasionally, in life, you run across someone that does an extraordinary job at what they do. The activity coordinator named Lori at this location was just this type of person. Her enthusiasm, her patience, her kindness were all qualities far above the average worker. Certainly gifted with her ability to work with people. She makes a difference in lives each day you could tell. Impressed!

I've been visiting a resident here once a week since 2012 and I think it's a a very caring environment. Many of the staff are the same as back in 2012, and they seem to truly care about the residents. Special kudos to social director Lori with her wide variety of activities and guests and in particular her little therapy dog Taylor. I also like the hairdresser. All seem to be very patient, attentive, and truly affectionate toward the residents, and the decor is cozy and welcoming.

Our 81-year old mother was a resident here for about 4 weeks. Unfortunately, after moving her in, we found out there was no Director of Nursing, no Activity Director, and no Business Office Manager. The CNAs and nurses were mostly from outside agencies, especially at night and on weekends. The ED was seldom out on the floor helping staff. Instead, she was in her office with the door closed. Staff described her to us as “burned out”. During Mom’s short stay, she developed an upper respiratory infection, 2 UTIs, and lost 11 pounds. At no time we’re we alerted to any of these health concerns WE as family had to seek help from our own physician when we noticed changes. When we complained to the Corporate offices (located in Brentwood, TN) support was sent on-site - too little, too late. Even they agreed that getting the community stable was going to take time. We notified the State Ombudsman and TN State Dept of Public Health with formal complaints. Don’t walk from this place, RUN! Your loved one and you deserve better.

5 stars??,yeah right, my dad was at the demetia care & did not get good care,he fell out of wheelchair multiple times,he was never changed in the mornings..his meds were all messed up. Please check more on loved ones if you go here,go late at night..I once went late at night & seen a lady crawling in the floor & was told they did that to keep her from falling out of wheelchair, would you want your loved one crawling on a dirty nursing home floor?
