Overview
Retirement shouldn't be spent doing chores all day or stuck inside a room with nothing to do. At Brookdale Eddy Pond, we have a community of spirited seniors who couldn't agree more. Our assisted living and memory care campus provides a warm and welcoming environment where you're empowered to live your life to the fullest and redefine your independence. Walk around our campus and you'll find something interesting to do at every corner. From our community greenhouse to our art studio, game room, on-site salon, and more, you'll never have to look too hard to find something to fill your days. If you feel like socializing, we plan a robust events calendar filled with activities, such as:

For seniors with Alzheimer's and dementia, we also provide a structured daily path of engagement designed to strengthen current skills—like morning mental workouts, clustered group discussions, and music therapy. To help promote a sense of belonging and purpose, we also provide life-enrichment opportunities with areas on campus designed for safe engagement—like gardening in the greenhouse or cooking prep in our community kitchen.
With so much to do on campus, you need your own personal space to recharge at the end of the day. Before move-in day, you can choose between a few apartment floor plans, ranging from studios to two-bedroom layouts. No matter what you decide, your apartment will be outfitted with a private bathroom, kitchenette, spacious closets, and windows to let in plenty of natural light. And, we're a pet-friendly community, so feel free to bring your favorite furry friend along with you on this great new adventure.
All care plans are customized based on your needs, with programs based on two levels of care: assisted living and memory care. With assisted living, seniors enjoy perks like housekeeping and restaurant-style dining. We also provide a helping hand with little things when needed, like grooming, dressing, and medication management.
For seniors with Alzheimer's or dementia, our memory care program is designed to provide a deeper level of support. Our daily path of engagement provides structure with research-backed activities to help your loved one strengthen their skills and become engaged with the community—all while having fun. We're also here to provide gentle reminders and help with daily tasks like medication administration, moving around campus, and dining assistance when needed. And because we understand how important peace of mind is, we have care staff on campus 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to any emergencies.

I have lived at EddyPond East for 3 1/2 years currently and I would extremely recommend this facility to anyone looking for themselves or their loved ones. The staff treats you like family and often goes above and beyond. EddyPond East has an above average longevity rate for staff members. Residents are one big family and as such help transition the move to assisted living very easily and painlessly. Amy, the activity director, and Denise, our bus driver doubling as an activity assistant provides excellent programs, crafts, games, learning opportunities, exercise, and camaraderie. Cole, the maintenance manager, is very efficient at keeping the building up to code in a timely manner, always with a smile. Beth at the front desk is probably the most personable person you’ll meet, going out of her way to help residents with any questions they may have. Kate, the dunking manager, does her best to listen to residents and provide meals that they enjoy. The nursing staff and CNAs are right on the ball. They really take care of our needs. Sarah, the executive director, has the best eyelashes you’ll ever see. She sees everything and runs a great facility.

When my aunt suffered a stroke, she was no longer able to return to the home where she had lived independently and thrived. My family suddenly found ourselves navigating unfamiliar territory and needing to secure appropriate care for her quickly. We toured several facilities, but the moment we visited Eddy Pond East, we knew it was the right place for her. From our first meeting with Lindy and through every subsequent interaction with the staff, it was clear that the entire team was committed to making this transition as smooth as possible—for my aunt and for our family. We utilized financing programs through Elderlife Financial, which allowed us time to prepare her home for the market, as well as the Aid & Attendance group, who guided us through the VA application process. Their support transformed what felt like an overwhelming undertaking into something manageable and straightforward. The kindness, compassion, and professionalism shown by every member of the Eddy Pond East team during such a difficult period left a lasting impression on us. Eight months later, the level of care, communication, and genuine concern for my aunt’s well‑being has remained consistently exceptional. The Health & Wellness team, in particular, demonstrates remarkable dedication, and even my brief interactions with the dining staff have shown how thoughtfully they engage with residents. Like many families, we initially questioned whether we had made the right decision. Time and again, the staff has reassured us through their actions that we absolutely did. I am deeply grateful for the care they provide. Knowing that my aunt is safe, supported, and truly cared for brings us a sense of relief we never imagined possible.

From the very beginning, the compassion, professionalism, and expertise shown by Executive Director Sarah and her entire team was evident. They treated my loved one with dignity, kindness, and genuine care, making her feel safe, respected, and truly at home. I highly recommend this community to any family looking for an assisted living facility that truly puts their residents and families first.

I love it here. I like this place because it feels like home. You can talk to people like the Activities Director and management. I am sometimes sensitive but I can talk to them when I am upset and they listen and help fix the problem. There is always something fun to do. I do really love it here.
