As a memory care community, we were designed from the ground up to offer seniors a caring staff, welcoming community, and cozy space to call home. And located in Sun City West, Arizona, we’re conveniently surrounded by area dental offices, urgent care facilities and medical specialists.
Our industry-leading Clare Bridge program takes a person-centered approach, offering a chance for seniors to nurture their current skills as well as explore a variety of hobbies and passions. We lead residents down a daily path of enrichment, which includes research-backed activities like gentle fitness classes, brain-boosting games and arts and music events. We’re also here to help with needs like bathing, dressing, dining and mobility. And you can rest easy knowing that our staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to be alerted to an emergency.
Our buildings were designed with your loved one in mind, featuring soothing colors, easy-to-navigate floor plans and secure outdoor spaces. Residents and families can choose from a variety of apartment floor plans, each with large sunny windows, a spacious living area and bathroom. We’re pet-friendly so furry friends can move in and apartments are fully customizable to an individuals’ decorating preferences. Our palm-tree lined entrance is warm and inviting and residents will enjoy lounging on the scenic patio or unwinding in the fireside living room.
We also feature an on-site ice cream parlor, fireside living room, walking paths, library and beauty/barber shop. And our building is outfitted with a 24-hour security system.
At Brookdale Camino del Sol, we serve delicious meals like baked tilapia, Salisbury steak and smothered pork chops. And with an expansive events calendar, there’s always something fun to partake in, whether it’s game night, resident birthday celebrations or outdoor nature walks!

This place is dirty. My grandma was here and the cups are dirty. They don’t wash their hands and they don’t have any machines to safely lift these patients up. I seen a caregiver struggle with one patient. It’s an inconvenience for the caregivers to wash the patients hands. I’ve seen other places treat their patients better. One girl was shoving food in one woman’s mouth like as if she was bother that she didn’t want to eat. Smh I also seen more than one diaper on my grandma. Is that even supposed to happen?

My wife has dementia. I had placed her in an assisted living facility for two weeks of respite, hoping the facility would become her residence. However, it was not to be. So we were back to the drawing board, so to speak. That is when I received a call from the sales manager at Brookdale Camino Del Sol. She had pursued us several months prior, so when she called, all of a sudden, I was interested in talking with them. The pandemic was in full swing and Brookdale was in shutdown. After some negotiations, both my wife and I entered Brookdale, going immediately into quarantine. They furnished us with a beautiful large apartment and lavished us with gifts and anything we asked for. After two weeks of quarantine I moved back home. They allowed me to pick out the private room that my wife would be moved to. They went so far as to paint the room and install a new and beautiful floor. While this work was being done, they allowed my wife to stay in the large apartment. I purchased new furniture for her room and the maintenance man assembled it. Brookdale, in my mind, is a first class facility. The employees go out of their way to accommodate people. They are well staffed 24/7, 365. I am so thankful we selected Brookdale for my wife's new residence. It was truly an answer to the prayers of many.

Don’t recommend at all! They double brief, like what? I’ve seen caregiver Shove Food down patients mouths if they are not eating fast enough. I’ve seen a lot happen here and I’m not happy. I will not be taking my family member here.
