Our Clare Bridge memory care program is industry-leading and walks residents down a daily path of enrichment, allowing them to nurture their current skills as well as pursue a variety of hobbies and passions. This includes gentle activities like dance and art classes, brain-boosting games and fitness classes. We take a person-centered approach to care and are here to help with things like bathing, dressing, dining and mobility needs.
You can choose your apartments from a selection of floor plans, each with large sunny windows, spacious living areas, and a private bathroom. We’re pet-friendly, so your furry friends can move in as well, and for peace of mind, we’ve installed an enhanced air purification system that serves common areas throughout the community.
You’ll enjoy strolling down one of our scenic walking paths, relaxing in the garden courtyard or mingling in the fireside living room. Additional amenities include a library, community kitchen, concierge service, game room, and an on-site salon. The chef, staff and entertainment are wonderful during family events! The only issue that I experienced was that there was not enough room in the dining space to accommodate the residents, family and friends. Tables had to be set up in the hallway preventing access to the entertainment and made it very difficult for people to navigate especially with walkers or wheelchairs. The last event i attended, my family and I had to sit in the hallway and we felt disconnected from the fun. I would hate for this to prevent anyone from feeling welcome to come because it's such a great time for us all to connect. I'd love to see an expansion if possible!

I have been here a week now with my service dog and we absolutely LOVE IT HERE!!!! I can't say enough about how warm and welcoming the staff and residents have all been! Right away we were comfortable and felt safe in our new home. A feeling we haven't had at any of the other facilities. Already we have made new friends. The dog park is five times bigger than the tiny one he was used to so he is loving all the space he has right away. Miss Ellie helped tremendously when the old facility dropped the ball (she's really on her game and walks you through the entire process!) and so kind. The menu is the healthiest I've had in any facility I've ever seen. If you're looking for a great facility...stop looking and come take a tour here. I promise you won't regret it!

Had the pleasure of meeting and transporting patients with Romeo. Good conversation and he really cares about the people that he accompanies to their appointments. Great guy. He is a keeper!!

Our father has been a member of the Brookdale Baywood community for 4years. He has made many friends, enjoys their many activities, and wonderful food. Brookdale’s professional, competent and caring staff are stellar. We have to rely heavily on them since we live in another state. Brookdale cares for our father as if he were family. We trust Brookdale.
