My mom recently moved to Brighton Gardens skilled nursing care after five years at another assisted living facility. The admissions process was easy and Elaine walked me through the process. Everyone we have encountered in our brief stay has been kind and caring. My mom has enjoyed the meals; the staff knows her likes and dislikes and tries to assist her in any way they can. While I was nervous for the move because my mother does not like change, I am happy to say that my mom has made a smooth transition. I would recommend visiting Brighton Gardens of Edison if you have a relative in need of their services.

I recently had the opportunity to volunteer at Brighton Gardens where I read excerpts from my poetry book to the residents. The experience was enjoyable and meaningful. The residents were attentive and engaged as they had tons or stories and insightful take-aways. I appreciated the conversations that we had during and after the reading. The activity staff, especially Karine, were courteous and helpful in getting everything set up, which made the process smooth and straightforward. Overall, it was a pleasant visit, and I’d be open to returning for similar volunteer opportunities in the future.

I am writing this review on behalf of my mother, Evelyn Becker. She wanted to let everyone know that the care that her husband received while at Brighton Gardens went over and beyond. She said that she could lye her head on her pillow at night and know that her husband was being well taken care of. She wanted to express her heartfelt gratitude to the DON Xavier who took the time to talk not only to her but her husband as well. His words went a very long way. Evelyn would recommend Brighton Gardens to anyone looking for total care of their loved ones.

The staff at Brighton Gardens of Edison assisted me, my sister, and especially my parents at a time of need and desperation; and I am forever grateful for their thoughtfulness and help. My mother spent seven years here, and my mother-in-law two years here as residents. They very much enjoyed their stay and were well cared for. Some bonuses of this facility include the Skilled Nursing wing for rehabilitation and the close proximity to JFK Medical Center. During my visiting days I had the pleasure of getting to know some of the staff. So now, almost two years later, I am a volunteer here ministering Bible study for the residents. When I returned to Brighton Gardens to interview for this position, I was greeted by a number of staff who still worked there and remembered me and my mother. That’s just the kind of place Brighton Gardens is. Come in and see for yourself.
