Brightmore is a wonderful community. The staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely engaged with the residents. The facility is beautifully decorated, very clean, and provides a comfortable environment. There are plenty of amenities and activities that make it an enjoyable place to live. A close family friend was a resident there and always spoke highly of the care and experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Brightmore to a family member.

The folks at Brightmore have truly been amazing. It was a hard decision for us to move my father into independent living and I’m so glad we did! From our first encounters with May to the amazing support, welcoming and love felt from April and all the rest of the team it had been wonderful. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly and the residents are all happy!!! Thank you Brightmore and thank you April and May for being truly wonderful to work with. We are excited and comfortable to now call this home for my Father!

I am extremely disappointed with this nursing home. My mother was only there for nine days, and just before she passed away, several pieces of her jewelry and a small bundle of cash went missing from her room. These items held both financial and deep sentimental value to our family. We reported the situation to the staff and were told that employees were asked whether they had taken anything. No one admitted to it, and no further action or meaningful investigation appeared to take place. The matter was never resolved. While security cameras monitor the hallways, no follow up came from this footage. According to insurance companies, situations like this are more common than people realize. At the same facility, while a friends mother was suffering from Alzheimer’s, she had a necklace taken right off her neck. I can’t undo what was done to our family, But I wanted to share our experience so this doesn’t happen to others. Please do not leave anything of value—sentimental or otherwise—in your loved one’s room. A nursing home should be a place where residents and their families can trust that personal belongings will be respected, especially during such a vulnerable time. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.
