Since I’ve moved to Big Bethel VillageI am truly enjoying my residency here. The staff is friendly and courteous. The maintenance are very timely when it comes to the needs of the tenant. I give a shout out to maintenance Michael Smith because I’ve observed that he goes abve and beyond helping the elderly.. He always greet you with a heartwarming smile. It shows daily that he has a mind and heart to work and he take his job seriously. For apartment up keeping, managers need to hire maintenance like Chris and Michael.

Elevators are often not working, bedbugs are rampant, residents are not allowed access to the outdoor courtyard. Cleaning of the community areas is rarely done (community bathroom fixtures broken for 3 years), no paper or soap in the community bathrooms. Management has little to no concern. Facility is supposed to be remodeled, but that has been in talked about for 3 years and still not changes. The remodel is supposed to require each resident to move at least 2 times while they remodel each apartment ! Hopefully you don't get moved into an apartment infested with bedbugs!

The activities director/coordinator here is one of the nicest, enthusiastic, energetic people I've seen in this line of work.... Ever. She has a true heart for her work and it shows. She offered us a faculty tour while our girl scouts were spending time with some of the seniors and I just felt like that was very thoughtful of her. She shared the history of the establishment and the joy she gets in what she does was evident. It really touched me to see that! ❤️

Lived at Big Bethel for 2.5 years. The elevator was always not working, the wash/dryers always not working, there was always something that was broken and roaches everywhere.
