While the staff and nurses are excellent there, leadership is lacking. They have been without a working elevator for over a month. The timeline for replacement is TBD. The recent email states it will take a few weeks to make a decision after assessment. Residents are still paying full price and told to only go to essential appointments. The Fire Dept is called anytime a 2nd floor resident needs to be carried down from the 2nd floor. Residents are cancelling appointment to not inconvenience the facility and Fire Dept. Residents are having to eat upstairs, separate from the rest of the community. Residents and visitors are severely impacted by this, not to mention the glaring safety issue this is. This is completely unacceptable. There needs to be a better temporary solution and an acceptable fix ASAP!

The moment you walk into the building you can see how warm and welcoming everyone is. It is on the smaller side, feels like a bed and breakfast instead of being overwhelmingly big like most assisting living buildings. I always enjoy coming to visit with my loved ones.

This place is a corporate entity in all they care about is money. The staff that takes care of the residents are the kindest people I've ever met. They loved my father so much that they wanted to go see him when he was in the hospital. But the staff at orchard valley told them they weren't allowed to visit when in all actuality they were they never asked us. They will get you through the door and get you in just so you pay This place really went downhill.

I toured the community for my dad. What stood out the most was many residents were gathered in the lobby before dinner and a worker was playing a trivia game. They were all playing and having fun. My dad would definitely fit in here!
