I moved to Avocet 6 years ago, and I am very glad that I did so. What Avocet provides besides a luxurious residential facility, is the opportunity to meet and befriend a group of wonderful people and engage in activities to satisfy a multitude of interests. I particularly enjoy the painting classes in the art studio and the exercise classes in the pool.

We moved my dad into the assisted living floor and then to the memory care floor. He has had exceptional care. My mom on the other hand moved into a beautiful apartment in the building that is both comfortable and spacious. It’s great because the building is perfect for both of their needs. We toured many other facilities and this far exceeds the others. Avocet is a hidden gem for seniors!

I have been here for 6 months, and I am very satisfied with the amenities and services here. I would recommend Avocet to anybody! I visited 10 other places and this was the best place. I really enjoy attending the aqua fitness class and the strength and balance class. There are so many things to do here. I’m always busy.

The activities that I have participated in have been great! I enjoy all of the fitness classes here. I really enjoy the heart health HIIT circuit class and the gym circuit training class. I also enjoyed walking to walking to Central Park near by with the walking club here.
