We have been at Avery Point since Jan 2024. It's been great! It's wonderful having someone else cook for us. The staff are cheerful, polite, respectful and always ready to help. There are lots of activities--you can do them all--or none (if your goal is to relax), or anywhere in between. We love our apartment. It's the perfect one for our lifestyle.

I just got off the phone with a lady about questions if you look on the seniors guide book this number is listed to call for a brochure so it's kind of confusing because you think you're calling to get the senior guide for sure and you're actually being connected with this apartment living. The woman was very rude did not want to take time to answer questions really I felt like I was bothering her and when I had tried to ask one more question she was already hanging the phone up in my face I was looking for some kind of housing for people with disabilities because I'm only 55 and some places will rent to people under 62 with disabilities but obviously this is one of those high priced Senior communities so they don't want to take time to answer questions if you're not able to qualify for the rent I guess. Hopefully guy finds me something better soon

My parents moved into Avery Point in January 2024. They chose Avery Point because of the promise of assisted living services scheduled to open shortly after they moved in. I attended the sales presentation with them in 2023 and we were told that assisted living would be in the lower level of Boynton Place once it was completed in early 2024. It’s now May of 2025 and nothing! I think they are now talking about 2028 before assisted living is They and many others have expressed frustration about this to management and at town hall meetings without any positive results. I also think that for a company like Erickson, who specializes in senior living centers, more thought would be put into the room design, appliance selection and amenities. For example, instead of a lip into the master bedroom walk-in shower, why not make it a zero entry shower to accommodate wheelchairs? The washer and dryer could be smaller for those for whom reaching and bending over are difficult. Dining areas could offer high top tables for those with bad knees who have difficulty getting up from a seated position. Other than that, they have met a lot of nice people and the food in each of the restaurants is delicious. But if you or your parents are anywhere close to needing assisted living in the next couple of years, I would not recommend Avery Point.
