Avamere at Englewood is a loving, grace-filled environment providing safety and loving care for my mother. It is an intimate setting, with gardens and porches like home. Martha with all her wonderful caregivers at Arbor House, are kind and so caring! I truly can’t say enough…my mother was in the Assisted Living for 8 years before she moved to full time dementia care the last two years. I am so grateful…it gives me peace knowing she is safe, and cared for with kindness.

My Mom lived here for three months before we needed to move her for more night time care. The apartments are very spacious, up to date , clean and the staff is top notch. Daniele was wonderful helping getting her in and even finding extra furiture that she could borrow. Everyone was professional and caring from caregivers, administration, kitchen help, and med techs. The residents were delightful and my daughter and I loved attending the events they had with my mom/grandma and meeting all the residents and visiting. I was even allowed to visit with my small dog. And, my daughter brought her baby and larger dog. I cannot say enough great things about the facility, residents, administration and staff. The chef even tried his best to fix special meals for my moms diet. My daughter or myself were there daily checking on my mom and stayed for hours. We only witnessed the best care. Thank you Avamere for your compassion, kind, wonderful care for my Mom. It was appreciated deeply. ~ Kim & Lexie

If you want your loved one cared for, do not bring them here. Not only is the care awful, so is the administration who makes it very obvious that each resident is just a number. My grandma had a fall in her room, and she was not taken to the hospital. We had to take it upon ourselves to take her to the hospital where she ended up having multiple fractures. This was not reported and not the only fall she had there. Even when we upgraded the “points” for more care, they did not provide it. We happily moved her to a much better facility that provides the care she needs, and she is safe at

Family Member My mom has lived in this community for two years. These have been some of the best years of her life! She has the freedom to enjoy the company of her little dog, and to be independent in her daily activities, knowing that help is just the push of a button away. My mom is able to participate in a wide range of activities fit to her liking and that of the other residents. She loves the food, but also we appreciate the full size fridge for keeping extra snacks in the room for her. Mom has grown close to the staff, which is very comforting to myself and my siblings. The care staff and med techs provide sincere, compassionate, and knowledgeable care and services, and for that we are especially thankful. Robin R.
