Recently moved my mom into Atrium Village and she loves it! The staff is compassionate and attentive, and the community is well-maintained. My mom participates in many of the activities and she seems to be settling in comfortably. My sister and I are grateful for the positive impact the staff and her new friends have had on her well-being. Highly recommend!

Avoid Atrium Living in Owings Mills, MD at All Costs If I could give a -5 star rating I would. I'm writing this review as a warning to others after my father's horrific 1-year stay at Atrium Living in Owings Mills, MD. Despite some exceptional caregivers and a dedicated nurse, the overall experience was marred by subpar care, neglect, and appalling management. There were several caregivers who showed compassion, kindness, and dedication to their work. They went above and beyond to care for my father, and I am grateful for their efforts. Additionally, I want to acknowledge the nurse who found my father lying on the bathroom floor, neglected for hours. His prompt action and concern for his well-being were a stark contrast to the facility's overall lack of care. Unfortunately, these individuals' efforts were undermined by the facility's systemic failures. The director, Patty, was cold-hearted, untruthful, and unprofessional. She only reached out to me when there was a price increase, and was otherwise unreachable. When I finally spoke with her about my concerns, she lied about being present in the facility daily, walking the floors, and ensuring quality care. The facility itself was in disarray. During my final visit, only one elevator was working, leaving residents and staff waiting for extended periods. The front desk was frequently unattended, with the entry door open to the public. I even tested my father's panic button, which went unanswered. The lack of attention to detail was staggering. Trash bags were scarce, and the large trash container on the floor often sat full and unemptied for hours. I would strongly advise against placing your loved one in Atrium Living. While there are some dedicated caregivers and nurses, the facility's management and systemic failures create an environment that is neglectful and unacceptable. Please, do not make the same mistake I did. Look elsewhere for quality care and compassionate management.

Atrium Village has been wonderful for our Mom! Especially since Mark Heuer, Executive Operations Specialist came on board- noticeable improvements in many areas. The current staff on her floor are so kind and attentive- Nurse Kelly takes her time to change Mom’s dressings with compassion. Andrew with OT has instructed her on staying strong and safe.

The Atrium provided a great home for my father to live on his own. He enjoyed many of the amenities and programs that they provided, but what he loved most about The Atrium was the people. He loved the staff members who worked there and made friends quickly with many of the residents. The staff made my family feel welcome when we came to visit. We appreciated The Atrium for giving him a comfortable, safe place to live.
